Today we’d like to introduce you to Nickole Swisher
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story is one of resilience and determination. After moving to New Mexico with my mother at 16, I faced challenges in our relationship that ultimately led me to seek independence by the age of 17. While I’ve always hoped for a closer connection with her, I’ve learned that some relationships take time and effort to mend. I deeply appreciate the love she has shown me and aim to foster a better bond as we both navigate our individual struggles.
“Throughout my journey, my primary focus has been on building a better life for myself and my children. I’ve faced numerous obstacles, including the loss of my father at a young age and the challenges of living independently. These experiences have shaped my drive to create a nurturing environment for my family, ensuring that my children feel supported and loved.
As I strive to build my career in social media management and content creation, I remain dedicated to personal growth and the pursuit of meaningful relationships. My goal is not only to provide for my family but also to serve as a positive role model for my children, showing them that with hard work and perseverance, they can overcome any challenges that come their way.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has been anything but smooth. Since I was 15, when I lost my father, I’ve faced significant challenges that have shaped who I am today. I moved to New Mexico with my mother, but our relationship was strained, prompting me to leave her when I was just 17. I have always wished for a closer bond with her, and I continue to strive for that connection while understanding that mental health struggles can create barriers.
Living independently in Albuquerque for several years presented its own set of challenges. I’ve navigated the ups and downs of life on my own, often feeling overwhelmed yet determined to overcome the hurdles before me. My stepdad has been a crucial support in my life, encouraging me to face my fears and reminding me of my worth, even during my lowest moments.
I’ve learned to push through feelings of self-doubt and loneliness, focusing on my goals for my family and myself. Balancing the demands of motherhood and my career in social media management and content creation is not easy, but each challenge has strengthened my resolve. I am committed to showing my children the importance of resilience and perseverance, teaching them that no matter how tough life gets, it’s essential to keep moving forward.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’ve built my career on versatility and creativity. I’ve done everything from modeling to social media management and content creation. Over the past few years, I’ve really honed my skills in digital marketing, working with brands to boost their online presence and connect with their audiences. What makes me stand out is my ability to wear multiple hats—I’m a model, a social media strategist, a content creator, and a creative problem solver. I’m proud of the diverse range of work I’ve been able to do, and how it all ties back to my drive to create something meaningful and lasting.
“What sets me apart is that I don’t just specialize in one area. Whether it’s managing social media accounts, creating authentic and engaging content, or using my modeling experience to elevate a brand’s image, I’m versatile and can be used in many different capacities. This adaptability has allowed me to build strong relationships with brands, and I’m always looking for new ways to grow and push boundaries.”
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
“My whole life has been a series of risks. I’ve had to make tough choices without the financial security that most people have when investing in their careers. I didn’t have extra funds to invest in courses, gear, or even myself at times, but I didn’t let that stop me. I knew I had to put in the work without the luxury of certainty.
“Risk-taking is uncomfortable, but it’s necessary if you want to grow. I’ve taken risks by stepping out on my own with very little financial support, moving to new cities, and trying to build something out of almost nothing. Every step I’ve taken has come with the understanding that it may not work out, but that hasn’t discouraged me. I think that’s the key: no matter how scary it is, you have to have faith that the risks you take will get you closer to where you want to be. You need to have a mindset of ‘I can’ and ‘I will’ instead of focusing on the ‘what ifs.’ Without that determination, it’s easy to get stuck, but I’ve learned that even when you have nothing, you can still build something meaningful with enough grit and perseverance.
