Daily Inspiration: Meet Jr Fetuao

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jr Fetuao.

Hi Jr, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
My wife and I had an Instagram shop called Fashion Crush Co in which we sold women’s clothing and handmade home decor that I custom made.

When we realized how much our customers loved the handmade items we made and how fast we were selling out at local boutiques we decided to start a family business strictly focused on handmade and custom-built furniture and that’s when Home Crush Designs was born. To get our business up and running my son and I would refinish old furniture we would find and sell it. Fast forward 3 years later and we have designed and built furniture, built-ins, accent walls, and our #1 seller…barn doors, for many local clients.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not always been a smooth road for us. We’ve had to overcome many obstacles such as finding the right space to work on projects during the hot summer months, having to adjust our price points due to the rise in cost for lumber and materials, and projects being delayed because of the lack of availability in materials.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We build custom furniture such as dining tables and desks along with entertainment centers, built-ins, accent walls, and our top seller Barn doors. The project we’re most proud of is the Arizona State flag barn doors we built for a client in Mesa.
The thing that sets us apart from others I believe is our passion for turning spaces into spaces our clients will love, the passion we have for bringing our client’s ideas to life.

Any big plans?
Our plan for the future is to eventually start flipping houses. With the eye for design that my wife has and the skills, I have developed over the years combined with our passion for turning a house into a home. We can see ourselves transforming entire homes for families to enjoy.
