Today we’d like to introduce you to Joey Navarro

Hi Joey, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hello, I’m Joey Navarro. I’m a tattooer of 23 years. I was born in Elizabeth,NJ. I started tattooing in Ft.Lauderdale, FL in 2000. I’ve always been an artist and musician since I was a young man. Ive always been determined and have pushed myself to be the best I can be. I’m an artist in Mesa, AZ with Club Tattoo. I made my way out here by working with Club Tattoo from Las Vegas. I love Arizona. It’s home. I love where tattooing has brought me. It’s definitely taught me a lot about life. You gotta do good and always keep goodness around. My life consists of my amazing wife, our fur babies, and family. It’s everything I live for along with the art of tattooing.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Lol! It definitely has its ups and downs. You have a lot of ego in the tattoo industry, I feel being confident in yourself, being open to learning, and having the ability to move forward overcomes the challenges of ego in the tattoo Industry.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’ve never pigeon holed myself to one thing. I’m versatile in all styles and knowing how everything needs to look.
