Daily Inspiration: Meet Jmorr of the group MorrRain

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jmorr of MorrRain.

Hi Jmorr of MorrRain, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started doing music when “officially” when I was 19 years old but it never got anywhere for me until I began working with my boys who are part of a group named “TFE” otherwise known as “Top Flite Empire”. They taught me the business in full from front-ground music to background business ethics and sales tactics among so many other avenues that contribute to an artist’s career and make them what’s considered “a big name” so I followed each and every step that TFE laid out for me and almost immediately my career began to change for the better. I began to become this influential staple to my city and then state to the point where other musicians wanted to be like me.

They all wanted to be a part of whatever it was I was doing. I learned what being famous meant in comparison to not having any clout at all very quickly. I have always kept a tunnel vision approach in the music industry which has earned me the title of one of the harder-working men out of Colorado. Now I can perform where ever I want and get paid to do what I love.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all but nothing amazing you want in life is supposed to be smooth. Those who want what we know we deserve have to work for it. Working for it, however, makes you respect it that much more. I have quit more times than I can count on my fingers and toes lol but I can’t stop it’s my path so I’m on it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an RnB singer, I specialize in writing and recording and doing my own background and backups, I am known for my extremely polished choruses and powerful inductions in my songs.

What sets me apart is my ability to polish my hooks with up to 28 layers and still mold them into something very clean

What’s next?
I can’t talk about too much right now based on rights but I’ve got some very huge news coming up lol.
