Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Collier.
Hi Jessica, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey into medicine started at a very young age. I was the one in my family who naturally stepped in to care for loved ones when they were sick—I found myself fascinated by health, healing, and how the body works. That early passion led me to become a Certified Nursing Assistant at just 18, then a Medical Assistant by 2005. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011 from St. Ambrose University, and after relocating to Phoenix, I began working in a top-ranked hospital on the medical-surgical unit.
But I wanted to do more. In 2018, I completed my Master of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University and became a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. I focused on endocrinology and perioperative medicine, but over time, I felt pulled toward something deeper—something more personal. While I loved the clinical side of healthcare, I kept seeing a gap—especially for people navigating weight, aging, and hormone changes. I saw men and women alike feeling discouraged, disconnected from their bodies, and overwhelmed by where to start.
That’s when I knew I wanted to create something different.
I opened Arizona Beauty Lounge & Co. to bring together science, wellness, and aesthetics under one roof. Today, I help clients—both women and men—through personalized, medical-assisted weight loss, hormone support, and aesthetic treatments like Morpheus8, injectables, and skincare. My approach is always holistic. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all plans. I meet each person where they are and build a plan that helps them feel better physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Arizona Beauty Lounge is more than a medspa—it’s a place where people can take back control of their health and feel supported through every phase of life. I’m passionate about helping my clients feel confident, strong, and seen—and that goes far beyond just physical appearance.
As a small business owner here in Phoenix, it’s been incredible to be part of a community that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and local roots. When someone chooses to invest in a business like mine, they’re not just getting a treatment—they’re joining a movement that values meaningful care, authenticity, and long-term transformation.
And outside of work, I’m a wife and mom of two. My greatest joy is spending time with my family and living the healthy, balanced life I encourage my clients to pursue.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I don’t think any meaningful journey is ever completely smooth—and mine has definitely had its share of bumps. But honestly, those challenges have shaped me into the provider and business owner I am today.
One of the biggest hurdles was learning how to transition from traditional clinical settings into private practice. In the hospital, you’re part of a larger system with set protocols, but when you step out on your own, you become the system. You’re the clinician, the business owner, the marketer, the decision-maker—and at times, the one mopping the floors. It’s empowering, but also overwhelming at first.
Another challenge has been navigating the emotional and physical toll of supporting others while still taking care of myself and my family. As someone deeply invested in my patients’ wellbeing, it’s easy to pour everything into them and forget to refill my own cup. But that’s taught me the importance of boundaries, self-care, and walking the same walk I encourage my clients to follow.
Growing a business during changing times—especially in healthcare and aesthetics—requires adaptability and grit. But every time I faced a setback or felt unsure, I returned to my “why”: to help people feel good in their skin and confident in their bodies, regardless of age or stage.
Every struggle has also brought clarity. It’s helped me refine my practice, improve the patient experience, and build a brand that’s truly aligned with my values—personalized, compassionate, results-driven care.
So no, the road hasn’t been smooth—but I wouldn’t change it. The challenges have made the success even more meaningful, and they’ve deepened my connection with the clients I serve. If anything, they’ve shown me that resilience, flexibility, and staying rooted in purpose are what really lead to long-term impact.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At Arizona Beauty Lounge & Co., I’ve created more than just a medspa—it’s a health-forward sanctuary where medicine meets self-care, and where clients are treated as whole people, not just a collection of symptoms or surface-level concerns. As a board-certified nurse practitioner with nearly 23 years of clinical experience, I specialize in medical-assisted weight loss, hormone support, aesthetic treatments, and women’s intimate wellness.
I work with both women and men on their weight loss journeys, using medically guided programs paired with lifestyle coaching and nutrition support. But what truly sets my approach apart is that I don’t stop at the surface—I dig deeper to create sustainable, personalized plans that go beyond the scale. For many of my patients, it’s not just about weight—it’s about energy, mood, hormones, and confidence.
When it comes to women’s health, I’ve built a unique offering that few in Phoenix—especially in the North Phoenix area can provide. I’m proud to offer The Vivian Project, my customized name for the EmpowerRF platform by InMode, which allows me to treat urinary leakage, vaginal dryness, painful intercourse, and weakened pelvic floor muscles in a compassionate, non-invasive way. These are sensitive but common concerns that deserve real solutions—and The Vivian Project gives women those solutions with dignity, science, and support.
While many practices stop at hormone therapy, I take it a step further by offering restorative technologies like VTone, FormaV, and Morpheus8V—giving women options that are empowering and life-enhancing. Being one of the only providers in North Phoenix offering this full-spectrum care makes Arizona Beauty Lounge truly stand out.
I’m also known for my holistic and patient-centered approach. Every treatment plan—whether for weight loss, skin rejuvenation, or pelvic wellness—is tailored to the individual. I take the time to listen, educate, and walk alongside each client with care and expertise.
What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me and the transformational outcomes we achieve together. Watching someone regain their confidence, reclaim their health, or finally feel seen and supported—those are the moments that remind me why I started this practice.
Arizona Beauty Lounge & Co. is more than a medspa—it’s a place for real change, rooted in science, compassion, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel their absolute best.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Honestly, the biggest lesson I’ve learned is that success requires patience—and patience has never been my strong suit.
When I started this journey, I thought if I just worked hard enough, things would move quickly. But the reality is, building something meaningful—especially in healthcare and wellness—takes time, trust, and consistency. I’ve had to learn to slow down, to give things space to grow, and to accept that progress often looks more like a series of small, steady steps than giant leaps.
There were moments when I questioned if I was doing enough or moving fast enough, but over time, I’ve come to see that true success is about impact, not speed. It’s about creating something sustainable, something real. Watching my clients transform, feel better, and trust me with their health—that’s what success looks like to me now.
I’ve also learned that sometimes the quiet seasons are where the biggest growth happens—both personally and professionally. So while patience hasn’t come naturally, it’s become one of the most valuable skills I’ve developed along the way.
