Daily Inspiration: Meet Jason Barclay

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Barclay.

Hi Jason, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Many people ask how I got into the business of providing high-rise services. My response is that “I just fell into it.” I partnered with a business owner of a smaller residential cleaning company that wanted to grow more commercial accounts.

As a young man, I had a close relationship with an uncle that did very well in commercial landscaping. As a mentor, he taught me many valuable lessons that I still use today. As I started off in my new journey, many values and characteristics I learned while serving in the USN like integrity, discipline and organization helped foster a laser-focused approach to building something I could be proud of and provide for my family.

Along the way, I have had an opportunity to meet amazing people, many of which I call friends today. My philosophy to business is to separate yourself as much as possible from your competition and to provide added value wherever possible. The best business relationships are the ones by which all parties are benefiting from.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing worth having comes easy, and the cost of learning can be expensive. There are new challenges that present themselves daily, and figuring out a way to overcome those challenges is always a task. At the same time, moving forward and overcoming challenges is gratifying. Starting the business during 2008 was tough as the bottom line was razor sharp. Becoming more efficient in the way our business runs is what has kept us around and driven tight budgets to thriving profits.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a specialist in high-rise services. I am proud to say that we are not only a cleaning company, we also provide valuable services such as window restoration, window leak and water intrusion repair, solar panel cleaning and suspension system install and test sets us apart from any company like ours in the Arizona market. We are a single-source solution company, and that in itself sets us apart from our competition and adds more value to each of our customers.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Clean D Window Cleaning would definitely not be who we are today without our employees. It takes the commitment and dedication of all the personnel who work for us, and without them, it would be impossible to be such a great service provider.
