Daily Inspiration: Meet Indi Clouds

Today we’d like to introduce you to Indi Clouds. 

Hi Indi, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started off doing it as fun. Family, friends, and I would have freestyle battles and ciphers and after a while of so many people telling me how good I am, I realized that I should take it a little more serious. So about 6 years ago, I went to a studio and recorded my very first song in about 15 minutes, it felt so good I just knew this is what I should be doing. Music is the main reason I’m in Arizona today. I’m originally from Connecticut where opportunity to expand isn’t as available as it is out here. I came to visit some friends to collaborate last year and fell in love with the scene so much I decided to move out here a few months later. It’s been a little over a year out here now and I am so glad with my decision. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been far from a smooth road. Learning to balance a work-life to support my dreams and my well-being, as well as have healthy relationships has not been easy. You have to put a lot of money and time into this industry before you’re able to make money from it. It has affected my relationships to the point where I chose to take a hiatus from making music which was a major part of a depressing time for me. Many doubts have arisen on my journey in pursuing a music career, especially in the beginning. It is a constant battle to put so much into something that is uncertain but it is very worth for me because it fills me with passion. 

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a goddess emcee that specializes in music with substance and wit. I am most known for my performances where I have been told numerous times in different words that I give off a vibe that is unlike any other and that’s what sets me apart from everyone else. There is no other Indi Clouds and I am most proud that so many people notice that. I don’t need any gimmicks or anything like that for people to feel me, who I am and the energy I bring is what makes people love my music. 

Any big plans?
My long-term goal for my music path is to create a financially stress-free life solely from being an artist. This way I will be able to touch people on a much larger scale and live a life full of passion. I am currently working on a project that I plan on dropping early 2022 and I believe this project will very positively affect the trajectory of my music career. I have been working with some big names and I’m very excited to share.
