Daily Inspiration: Meet Felicia Rials

Today we’d like to introduce you to Felicia Rials.

Hi Felicia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a Philadelphia native who brings her east coast vibes to the west coast. After living in Scottsdale, AZ for over 13 years she was located in Los Angeles. Felicia refused to settle for mediocre. She had the privilege to assist a celebrity hairstylist, in-salon and on outside jobs as well.

This is where she learned how to create that effortless natural look with invisible layers, creating texture and movement that every girl wants. From Malibu beach hair to red carpet looks. After Covid happened I moved back to Scottsdale.

Having worked with celebrities like Jaime Alexander, Jennifer Cheon Garcia, Cindy Crawford, Bella Podaras, Bachelor Season 23, Tracy Shapoff, Fitness model Whitney Johns, Lauren Silverman, Alyshia Ochse, Allison Porter, Samantha Hemsworth, Mary Sarah, and members of the band Phoenix to name a few.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all! Moving to LA was so hard!

Assisting for over a year with a one-year-old in a new city was very hard. But 100% worth it! It made me grow as a stylist and a human being. I know how I want to run my business and what I want to stand for!

This industry has become so judged by Instagram and I want to break the mold! No more photoshop no more normalizing edited photos for false advertising! I want to change it!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in cutting and lived in color. That natural Malibu blonde!

I can pick apart a haircut with my eyes in two seconds! I am most proud of the person I have become! I want to make a difference in this Industry! I think we need change.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memory is spending my day at my grandma’s salon. I remember it like it was yesterday! She is who got me to follow my dreams of becoming a hairstylist!
