Daily Inspiration: Meet Diamond Hunt

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diamond Hunt.

Hi Diamond, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I actually got into graphic design by accident. When I first started my business as an entrepreneur selling sunglasses, I realized how important visuals were for building a brand but at the time, I couldn’t afford to hire anyone to do it for me. So I started teaching myself design, creating my own content, and leaning on my background in marketing and management to figure out social media.

What started as a necessity quickly became a passion. I fell in love with the process of not just making something look good, but making it connect, helping people see the story and feel the brand behind it. From there, I began designing and managing content for others, and it really started to take off.

Now I get to blend both sides of my background, creativity and strategy to help businesses, nonprofits, and campaigns bring their ideas to life in a way that feels authentic and impactful.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No way! It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve dealt with imposter syndrome, slow months with no clients, and plenty of creative blocks along the way. But each challenge taught me resilience and reminded me that growth doesn’t happen in comfort! It happens when you keep going, even when it’s hard.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’d say at the core of everything I do, I’m a storyteller. I’m a nonprofit storyteller and marketing girlie with a real passion for graphic design and content creation. I love taking ideas and turning them into visuals that connect with people on a deeper level. One of the projects I’m most proud of is my recent work with the Form Fit Fashion Show, where I designed their entire festival, it pushed me creatively and showed me how much I enjoy bringing big visions to life.

What sets me apart is my passion and drive to keep learning. I never want to be the smartest person in the room! I want to always be a student of my craft. That mindset keeps me open, evolving, and ready to take on new challenges.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I’ve found that the best networking comes from building genuine relationships. I have one mentor now, I actually found them through connections with my community of friends and peers in the same field. Surrounding myself with people who inspire me has been so valuable.

Networking doesn’t have to feel formal! It can simply be about showing up, connecting, and being open to learning from the people around you.
