Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started out as a mentor for the company I was working for. Throughout my 16 year’s experience, I transitioned into a training and development professional. Working with both internal and external clients, I was responsible for ensuring they had the best-in-class experience. That was when I realized I had a gift which was executing experiences. I am trained to know what adult learners need in order to have the best learning experience possible, and I continued to develop those skillsets which are customer service, verbal and non-verbal communication, and strategic planning.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
NEVER! The road has been filled with different obstacles and challenges. I have struggled with my identity, my experience, and belief in my own skills and abilities. I was able to overcome those obstacles by changing my circle and keeping myself surrounded by individuals who could help me grow into my authentic self, and how to utilize my skills to help others.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a consultant. There are a variety of disciplines I assist clients with improving their own businesses. I specialize in training and development, organizational development, servant leadership and strategic planning. I have realized the main skillset I have is problem-solving. Non-profit development, training and development, customer service development, sales training, leadership development, instructional design, and professional development are all areas in which my clients request my assistance in. I am extremely proud of the growth of those I have helped transform their businesses. Not only that, the impact I have been afforded to make in the community. Although there are consultants everywhere doing the exact same thing, I am the consultant that is going to empower you along the way, I am going to turn into your business bestie, and really help you to not only recognize your business development needs, but also help you grow as a person. I am also the consultant that is going to encourage community by ensuring your investment into SIS is given back to the community through a scholarship each year.

What does success mean to you?
Success is when you have achieved your goals whether large or small and have gained wisdom in the journey and transformed lives along the way.
