Daily Inspiration: Meet Christian Udeze

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Udeze.

Hi Christian, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Well, it all really started from playing basketball, I started playing basketball when I was 14 years old and from there I grew a love for basketball. I played for national teams and I have also played internationally with Ireland which is where I’m from. Basketball was always my sport because it helped me develop my character both on and off the court and also give me a confidence boost.

Then my love for basketball transitioned into me making a Basketball Content page, called bballempire and the purpose of this page is to inspire people to play basketball and give daily updates on the NBA.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Well, nothing is easy you know, it has been a mixture of both in the sense of consistency because I have a part-time job and I’m also in full-time education at the Maynooth University of Ireland. So it has been a tough but amazing experience so far.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Well, there’s not much, I work in Retail, Sports direct in Portlaoise to be exact and it is an amazing job that also helped boost my character towards work and helped me build a work ethic.
