Daily Inspiration: Meet Caitlin Wible

Today we’d like to introduce you to Caitlin Wible.

Hi Caitlin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Before starting my balloon business I was a Veterinary Technician, once we started growing our family I wanted to stay home and raise my babies. After my second child I started struggling with Postpartum Depression. I struggled to even run simple errands like going to the store for diapers, or a short walk through the neighborhood.
At this time I had already been creating balloon garlands for my children for their birthdays and friends kids for their events. So I decided to start offering just small balloon garlands to neighbors to force myself to get out of the house.
My social anxiety has always been hard but I’ve always battled that and knew if I just put in the work I would adjust to this new journey just fine.
I began learning and perfecting my craft and promoting myself anywhere I could. Soon we started adding backdrops, acrylic signs and other rentals and customizations. And that’s how my business grew to where it is today.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a super smooth road, like any new journey there’s a lot of learning. Like what techniques and balloon brands work for me and what doesn’t.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in creating custom backdrops and balloon decor for any event/occasion from birthday parties to corporate events and everything in between!
I’m known for my attention to detail, I’m obsessed about perfecting every detail from balloon placement, sign sizing and even making sure any cords from neon lights are neatly placed and hidden from sight.
Im most proud of how many returning clients we have being able to help celebrate all the milestones in their lives!
My communication with my clients and attention to detail sets me apart from others. I make myself available to answer any questions or worries my clients have!

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My family has stood behind me from the beginning, my husband helps with almost every event, carrying backdrop boards and weights, helping me make sure every angle is amazing! My father-in-law builds our backdrops and any wooden prop I can dream of! My children are my biggest cheerleaders always making sure to tell me how the balloon colors are so pretty and how any theme is just perfect! My Mother-in-Law will drop anything to help watch my children during sets up no matter how little notice I give her. We also have several key, non-related supporters of our business such as Ted Stacy. Ted has been one of our biggest supporters from day one always advocating for the business and helping along the way. Also, my repeat clients who give me creative freedom to customize amazing set ups for their events. Another special shout out to Mat Meyer with Ansley Table and Kevin Williams with Parked Party for being our biggest social media cheerleaders!
