Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Gloria
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was fortunate to grow up in Arizona, where in 2019, I proudly graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. My journey with beauty and precision began early, shaped by over a decade of competitive dance from the age of six to eighteen.
As a child, I harbored dreams of becoming a pediatrician, not realizing that my path would lead me to a different, yet equally fulfilling, specialty. Though healthcare was always in my sights, it was on a whim that I applied to the nursing program—a decision that proved to be both fortuitous and transformative.
Nursing school was a rigorous and demanding experience, but every challenge I faced was worth it when I secured my dream position in the emergency department. To mark this milestone, I indulged in my first neuromodulator and lip filler treatment, an experience that sparked an immediate and profound fascination with aesthetic nursing.
A year into my career in the ER, I found myself yearning for something more. It was at this time a dear friend introduced me to an opening at a plastic surgeons office. Embracing this opportunity with gratitude, I embarked on a new and exciting chapter in my career.
My personal experiences with nonsurgical aesthetic procedures further ignited my passion for beauty enhancements, sparking an ever-growing curiosity about the role of an aesthetic provider. Just a month into my position in the plastics PACU, and while navigating the demands of the COVID pandemic alongside my work in the ER, I committed to a comprehensive aesthetic training program. This rigorous course allowed me to earn certifications in advanced neuromodulators, fillers, PDO threads, PRP, and other aesthetic treatments.
The path to becoming an aesthetic nurse injector was challenging, yet perseverance ultimately led to a gratifying achievement. Nearly a year after earning my certifications, I took a bold step and approached the plastic surgeon I was working with, expressing my desire to transition into aesthetic nursing. This leap of faith opened the door to specialized training, where I was meticulously prepared for what would become my dream role.
Launching my career as an aesthetic nurse injector at a local plastic surgeon’s office was a defining moment, bringing my aspirations to life. Today, I am privileged to inject at Curated Medical in Scottsdale, where I have been for the past two years. The growth I have experienced under the mentorship of our founder has been nothing short of remarkable, and I am eager to continue this journey of learning and development.
Three years into this field, I have discovered the profound rewards of helping others feel more beautiful and confident. Each day presents an opportunity to deepen my understanding of procedures, anatomy, and techniques, and to immerse myself in continual education. Though I consider myself still in the early stages of my career, I am deeply proud of the progress I’ve made and immensely grateful for the chance to pursue my dream as an aesthetic nurse injector.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey to where I am today has been far from smooth, marked by challenges that have ultimately shaped my growth as an injector. When I joined Curated Medical, I quickly recognized the importance of deepening my understanding of the facial anatomy—something that wasn’t prioritized at my previous practice.
Now, I am deeply grateful to have continuous learning opportunities readily available, alongside the guidance of a mentor who encourages my growth. As my knowledge has expanded, so too has my awareness of the complexities and responsibilities inherent in this field. Rather than viewing this as a challenge, I embrace it as a driving force that compels me to practice with the utmost care, ensuring that my work remains both safe and impactful.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As an aesthetic injector, I’ve discovered a profound passion for the art of full facial balancing. This approach involves enhancing natural facial features by restoring structure, volume, and contours, ultimately achieving a youthful and harmonious outcome while considering the face as a whole. My work is deeply rooted in the evolving landscape of aesthetics, and I’m particularly drawn to collagen-stimulating treatments like Sculptra, PRF, and Vivace, which offer long-term benefits and subtle rejuvenation.
Additionally, I’ve always had a love for lip filler—appreciating how such a seemingly simple enhancement can be so transformative—my true satisfaction comes from creating results that are both beautiful and natural.
What sets me apart is my commitment to personalized care. I approach each patient with the understanding that their face is unique, requiring a tailored treatment plan that respects their individuality. I’m not just focused on the immediate results, but on achieving a balance that will age gracefully over time. This holistic, patient-centered philosophy, combined with my ongoing dedication to education and mastery in the field, allows me to provide an experience that is as safe as it is exceptional.
Any big plans?
My plans for the future revolve around deepening the relationships I’ve built with my clients and expanding my practice within Curated Medical. I’m committed to continuing my education under the guidance of the most prestigious teachers in the aesthetic industry, always striving to enhance my expertise. My goal is to stay at the forefront of the field, ensuring that I am well-versed in the latest techniques and advancements. This dedication to ongoing learning allows me to refine the procedures I offer and consistently deliver exceptional, satisfying results for my patients. As I look ahead, I am excited to continue growing both personally and professionally, always with a focus on providing the highest standard of care.
