Conversations with TOZ Antonio Piretti

Today we’d like to introduce you to TOZ Antonio Piretti.

Hi TOZ, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started in Italy, with my first singing and guitar lessons… I then did the first live performances and composed the first songs… music became my way of living when I moved to Toronto, where I started playing everywhere, bars, clubs, Gospel churches, and even in the subway of the city joining the renowned TTC music program.

I then recorded other albums and improved my skills with the guitar and the piano.

I have organized several adventure tours in Canada (2 coast to coast) and Europe (everywhere), combining music with sport, I was moving with a guitar and a bicycle bringing my music to the people.

Nowadays, I live between Toronto and northern Germany, playing often and trying to convey positive messages with my music and songs

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life has taught me that when you are on the path you want, nothing is easy.. but when you feel it is yours, then everything is all right.. you have to try and go on and build what you can best. Now living with your music is very, very difficult as, for the most part, only the live performances can bring you a profit.. but in the same way, it is right to take the path that you feel is yours, rather than follow a simpler one than not will take you where you want to go.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I play voice, guitar, and piano, acoustically.. pure, direct, sincere. I sing, presenting my life and what I believe in with my songs.
I am always authentic, myself, in what I do.

I think this can be appreciated by people.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
They say fortune smiles on the daring. Fate is always important, but it is also true that there is “Karma” and I am convinced that “time is a gentleman”.

So I think in the future, I will be able to reap fruits that at the moment have only been planted…
