Conversations with Sybil Imel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sybil Imel.

Hi Sybil, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
10 Years In, and Just Getting Started: A Short Story of Evolution, Empowerment & Expansion

When I first joined Isagenix 10 years ago, it was about wellness—about reclaiming my health, confidence, and energy. I never imagined that one decision would open the door to so much more.

Over the years, I built a powerful team. Together, we didn’t just grow our businesses—we evolved. I began teaching them how to show up confidently online, how to use social media to not just share products, but to tell stories, build trust, and create movements. I showed them the beauty and power of connection in the digital space.

Then about a year ago, something clicked.

I realized this skill—the ability to simplify and amplify a message on social media—wasn’t just for my Isagenix team. It was for business owners everywhere. Realtors. Stylists. Coaches. Artists. Anyone building something meaningful could benefit from the same tools and confidence I had built in this journey.

Because social media isn’t just social anymore.
It’s a social selling platform.

And here’s the most unexpected gift: I watched women—especially women over 40—begin to feel confident on camera again.

They stopped hiding. They stopped picking themselves apart. Instead, they started showing up as they are, documenting their lives not just for business, but for legacy.

Taking out their phones became less about “selfies” and more about self-expression. About capturing the everyday moments that someday, future generations will treasure.

This isn’t just content. This is a living memory bank. A visual journal. A reminder that we were here, living boldly.

And that… that’s been the most beautiful evolution of all.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Was it a smooth road?

Not at all.

There were doubts, tech struggles, awkward videos, and moments I worried about people registering for my classes and finding venues to host us. I battled fear, comparison, and the pressure to be perfect.

But every challenge taught me to grow, adapt, and keep showing up.

Confidence wasn’t handed to me—it was built, step by step.

Now, I get to help others do the same.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in helping women—especially over 40—feel confident on camera and powerful in their message. I teach social sellers, business owners, and brand reps how to show up with purpose, clarity, and style on social media.

What sets me apart? I make it simple, doable, and fun. Through my one-day, hands on workshop-style trainings called Content Ready Sessions, I guide business owners step-by-step through creating their posts, crafting powerful Stories, and most importantly- filming and editing Reels that convert.

I’m most proud of watching women stop hiding and start showing up—for their business, their families, and their legacy.

This isn’t just about sales. It’s action. It’s implementation, It’s confidence in real time.

And I get to help make that happen every single day.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
What was I like growing up?

Oh, I was that girl—running the neighborhood like it was my personal empire. Always organizing something… a dance routine, a lemonade stand, I even had my own “lending library” where my friends could check out books. I loved all arts and crafts products. Bossy? Maybe. But only because I had vision.

I talked fast, dreamed big, and made sure everyone felt invited in and included—and had snacks. Honestly, not much has changed.
