Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacey York.
Hi Stacey, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I became a consultant for Paparazzi because I wanted a discount for the jewelry that I fell in love with. Then after talking to my friend I realized that there is unlimited earning potential. Here I am a single mom of 5 looking for a second job, where I can be making money without having to deal with the stress of looking for a babysitter and running to another job right after leaving another.
Not only have I fallen in love with the jewelry but I fell in love with this business and all it has to offer. This business challenges me in the most positive ways, and even my kids don’t mind getting into this with me. Becoming a Paparazzi Consultant has given me the start I needed to begin building my family empire.
After being a consultant for about a year I began running into obstacles with being a vendor for events due to the paparazzi rule – I began to rethink other ways to make money and BOOM the birth of my baby was born on 9/01/2020 Shadez Of Stacey is very dear to me. Not to take away from my other businesses but this one bears my name. and it’s truly a reflection of me.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t always been a smooth ride – I knew nothing about owning a business and to be honest, I’m still learning. I had to juggle working a full-time job and being a mom not to mention dealing with special needs children.
I found ways to incorporate my children into the business to spend time with them and show them how to earn money. Making sure no one felt left out or behind because I didn’t always have a babysitter so I had to bring them along or my oldest son would assist with babysitting my younger children.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I was a state employee for some time. However, now I’m proud to say I am a full-time employee of myself!
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
I would not call it luck whether it’s good or bad, I don’t believe in that. I go off faith and when you don’t know anything about business- you are going in blind so I look at the situation and think how did I win, how did I learn, how can I improve?
