Conversations with Sierré Simone

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sierré Simone.

Hi Sierré, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Serene Serenity began as a personal pursuit of peace, purpose, and restoration. At the time, I was serving in the military—showing up each day with strength and discipline, while inwardly craving softness, expression, and a space to truly exhale. Fashion had always been part of my identity, but it wasn’t until I came home from a 15-hour shift, wrapped in a robe I had designed for myself, that I realized I wasn’t just creating clothing—I was curating comfort. A moment. A daily devotion.

That first satin-lined robe became more than just a garment—it was the beginning of something sacred. I launched Serene Serenity not only to design beautiful pieces, but to offer something deeper: a lifestyle rooted in elegance, intentionality, and ease. What began with robes for women soon expanded to include unisex designs that serve anyone seeking comfort, confidence, and clarity in how they show up each day.

Today, Serene Serenity offers contemporary resort wear and loungewear for both women and men—each piece created to help you slow down, dress with purpose, and connect with the most elevated version of yourself. Every detail is designed to feel like a wearable exhale. This brand has been a journey of healing, creativity, and discipline—and it’s only the beginning.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all—and honestly, I don’t think I would’ve grown this much if it had been smooth.

There were times when I was packaging orders at 2 a.m. after long days working on aircraft—exhausted, hands still rough from the job, but fueled by purpose. I had already transitioned out of the military by then, but the discipline and structure it taught me carried over. I poured everything I had into Serene Serenity—financially, emotionally, spiritually. There were moments I had to choose between producing a new sample or covering basic life needs.

One of the most painful moments was deciding to pause the brand. I shut down the site and stepped back from marketing because, truthfully, I no longer felt aligned with the version of the brand I had built. That decision felt like failure at first. But now I see it was an act of faith. I wasn’t quitting—I was making room for a deeper, more intentional version of what Serene Serenity was meant to be.

The hardest part has been building a brand rooted in softness and divine ease while navigating the opposite in my own life—burnout, spiritual testing, and creative uncertainty. I had to evolve into the woman I was designing for. And that meant confronting hard truths, re-centering my values, and learning to lead with peace even in the chaos.

But every setback refined the mission. Every delay revealed something essential. And every time I thought about quitting, I’d receive a message from a customer telling me how deeply they connected with the brand or how powerful they felt wearing one of our pieces. That’s when I knew—I’m building something much bigger than clothing. I’m building a lifestyle of intention, beauty, and restoration. One piece at a time.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m the founder and designer behind Serene Serenity, a contemporary brand that blends fashion with wellness and intentional living. At our core, we create elegant, elevated pieces—most notably our signature robes—that embody the feeling of luxury while offering the ease of comfort. Each robe is thoughtfully designed with satin lining, deep pockets, and purposeful construction to create a moment of calm, confidence, and care—for both women and men.

Currently, our focus is on unisex robes that serve as both loungewear and a lifestyle statement—inviting people to slow down, exhale, and wrap themselves in something that mirrors who they truly are. What’s ahead is an expansion into resort wear, where we’ll continue to merge timeless design with the essence of rest, refinement, and effortless style.

What I’m most proud of is how deeply the brand resonates beyond aesthetics. Serene Serenity has become more than a clothing line—it’s a feeling, a daily practice, a gentle reminder to live beautifully and intentionally. When someone reaches out and says, “I didn’t know how much I needed this,” that’s when I know we’re creating something truly meaningful.

What sets us apart is our perspective. We don’t chase trends—we design from a place of discipline, grace, and divine ease. Our pieces reflect a lifestyle where confidence is quiet, elegance is embodied, and the softness of life is honored. Our audience isn’t striving to become someone—they already are. Serene Serenity simply reflects that back to them.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
Serene Serenity wouldn’t be where it is without the people God placed in my life to support and strengthen the vision. First and foremost, my spouse has been one of my biggest supporters. He steps in with so much love and patience—especially in the areas that aren’t my strong suit. Whether it’s logistics, tech, or just encouraging me when I start to doubt myself, he’s consistently held it down behind the scenes so I can stay focused creatively.

My family and close friends believed in Serene Serenity before it was even a brand—back when it was just an idea I spoke about with hope and a dream in my heart. They’ve cheered me on every step of the way, prayed for me, and reminded me who I am during both the wins and the silent seasons.

And honestly, our customers deserve so much credit too. We’re still a small brand—like a needle in the haystack—and every time someone finds us, places an order, or sends a kind message, it means the world. Our community is filled with the most thoughtful, supportive people who truly get the heart behind the brand. Their encouragement reminds me that it’s not just about selling products—it’s about creating moments and building something sacred.

As a believer, I see this entire journey as a beautiful unfolding—one Serene Serenity is still growing through each day. I’m grateful to God for guiding me and surrounding me with people who uplift me. Every person who has supported—whether through prayer, purchase, or presence—has played a part in its becoming. And I don’t take that lightly.
