Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Little.
Hi Samantha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
As both a bride-to-be and a small business owner, I found myself at the unique intersection of planning my own wedding while also navigating the challenges of growing a brand. That’s where the idea for The Engaged Experience was born—a space where both couples and local businesses could benefit equally. I wanted to create something that went beyond numbers on social media and instead gave small businesses the opportunity to showcase their true talent in person. This event is about more than transactions; it’s about building connections, fostering creativity, and giving couples a chance to experience firsthand what these passionate vendors have to offer. In many ways, The Engaged Experience reflects my own journey: taking two pieces of who I am—entrepreneur and bride—and bringing them together to create something meaningful for our community.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We’ve certainly experienced our share of ups and downs throughout the planning process, but overall the journey has been incredibly rewarding. One of the biggest challenges has been increasing foot traffic and encouraging more couples to attend. At times it can feel daunting, but those challenges have taught us so much about outreach, community engagement, and the importance of building trust with both vendors and couples.
Each event has provided valuable lessons and opportunities to grow, and I remain optimistic that with time, awareness will continue to build. My hope is that every experience becomes stronger, more impactful, and even more meaningful — not just for the couples who attend, but for the passionate small businesses who pour their hearts into making it special
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an event planner and the founder of The Engaged Experience: A Wedding Workshop, where I specialize in designing interactive, hands-on experiences that bring people together in meaningful ways. While weddings are a natural focus for me as both a bride and small business owner, my passion extends far beyond that—I love creating events of all kinds, from intimate celebrations to large-scale community gatherings, and I’m excited to expand further into corporate events as well. What I’m most proud of is creating an event that not only supports couples in their planning journey but also gives small businesses a stage to showcase their creativity beyond the limits of social media. What sets me apart is my ability to view events through multiple lenses—personal, professional, and entrepreneurial—allowing me to craft experiences that feel both memorable and impactful. I’m known for curating events that celebrate talent, foster authentic connections, and leave a lasting impression on everyone involved.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I encourage any small business that wants to showcase their talents to connect with me about being part of the next event! One of the things that makes The Engaged Experience so unique is the variety of vendors we feature—it’s not just the traditional wedding professionals, but also creative businesses like permanent jewelry, pet attendants, mobile mini golf, custom cowboy hats, soda carts, and so much more.
Couples can support by attending, experiencing the event, and sharing their feedback, which helps us continue to grow and refine each workshop. For collaborators, I’m always open to partnering with businesses, brands, or creatives who share the same passion for building authentic, memorable experiences. And because each event is also captured in our beautifully curated magazine, vendors and couples alike are able to see their stories highlighted and celebrated in a lasting way.
If you’re looking for an event planner who is passionate about creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind experiences—and who values celebrating talent, fostering connection, and leaving a lasting impression—I would be honored to be considered for your next event.
