Conversations with Richardson Donnat

Today we’d like to introduce you to Richardson Donnat.

Hi Richardson, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m originally from Haiti and moved to the States when I was 11. I lived in Florida for a couple of years and moved to Arizona in 2002, where I’ve lived ever since. After I graduated college, I started working as an interpreter. I have always had an entrepreneurial mindset. In 2019 I opened a small tax firm in Tempe, AZ. A few years in, I met a friend who’s a top-earner realtor who convinced me to become a realtor after I told him I have always had a passion for real estate. I took his advice. I attended school and passed my school and state exams. I was extremely excited to apply for my license.

Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
No! It was challenging because I worked full-time during the tax off-season and studied for school. I would also travel a lot for work, which would cause me to study at the airport or hotel lobby where ever I could get some space.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might need to become more familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
As a realtor, I offer my clients a comprehensive and personalized approach to the buying and selling process. I have extensive knowledge of the local real estate market and use this expertise to help my clients make informed decisions. Whether you are a first-time buyer or a seasoned investor, I work closely with you to understand your needs, preferences, and budget. I guide throughout the entire process, from listing to closing, to ensure a smooth and successful transaction. I pride myself on my professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent customer service. With me as your realtor, you can rest assured that you are in good hands.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
Phoenix is home. Although initially I’m from somewhere else but have been here for so long that it feels like home. I love the outdoors and the beautiful lakes and trails. I dislike only a little about Phoenix, except it’s starting to get a bit crowded.
