Conversations with Pixelist Media

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pixelist Media. Them and their team share their story with us below:

The story of Pixelist Media starts off with two people with two very different paths and from two different counties. What this remarkable duo created can only be described as “fine art.”

Six years ago, after graduating with a degree in Graphic Design at a university in Mexico, Priscila relocated to Phoenix, Arizona. Having made the leap to move to a foreign place where she didn’t know anyone in hopes of finding herself, becoming independent, and having a better life, she succeeded in all that and more. She worked at a decent company where she had climbed to a managerial position but the higher management didn’t appreciate her or her skills. She quickly found herself to be stuck in an environment that made her unhappy.

Linh, on the other hand discovered his passion for the arts at a much earlier age. He learned about the beauty of photography through his dad. It was an art form that also allowed him to tell wonderful stories. He would later graduate from Arizona State University with a degree in Digital Art. As luck would have it, he had a life-alternating event which sent his plans spiraling down. Leaving him broke at one point (the bank charging him a fee for not having enough funds in the account putting his account in the negative), his bad luck streak changed when he met Priscila.

After some insightful conversations, Priscila and Linh realized they both shared a passion for architecture and spaces. They wanted to create glorious scenes that helped the viewers feel the vibe and atmosphere while also imagining themselves in the given space. They also wanted to create an honest business that will continue to grow and flourish well into the future. They combined their skillsets and what they had learned and experienced over the years to finely craft their own unique style and method. In 2020, this duo officially created Pixelist Media.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We have been lucky to have a somewhat smooth road. With each challenge that we do encounter, we try to overcome it in the best positive way as possible. We refuse to lose focus of our goals.

At Pixelist Media, we do photography, video, drone, and graphic design work, among other things. We specialize in architectural and real estate. We are proud that our company’s priority is going out of our way to create the perfect shot for our clients. Being consistent in quality is important to us.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Always put yourself out there and do not be afraid of rejection. Out of 100 doors that close, one is going to be open. We have tried all forms of social media and having open conversations with different people has allowed us to meet interesting personalities that in turn have given us good referrals.
