Today we’d like to introduce you to Paris Morton
Hi Paris, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Well, I’m from Atlanta,Ga; I was doing a little modeling and content creation before I took my talents to Phoenix.
I did my first photoshoot at 18; it was with this photographer by the name of Z3; then I worked with a close friend of mine named Fits and we shot very often. I slowed down on shoots because I went to school in Baltimore and I came back down to Atlanta to continue school. Once I was done with school. I started back doing photo shoots and then I was a vendor in the city. When I moved to Phoenix in Aug of 2023, I slowed down on content because I was more focused on getting my life together.
Later, I started back shooting, I met awesome photographers like Dan Chaney, john, Adela and Asaya.
They’re my favorite people to work with here in Phoenix. I even still go back home to Atlanta and I shoot with Brooklyn and chino.
It just became a thing for me. I have many ideas and I know who can help my photos come to life. I even launched my website in Oct where I sell merchandise with my pictures on it.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been ups and downs, I’ve dealt with brain fog because I struggled with trying to figure what kind of content to make.
There were times where I have done shoots and the pictures didn’t come out as I thought it would. There was even a time I worked with a photographer who scammed me and a bunch of ladies.
I just learned to stick with what I know and use discernment when it comes to new individuals to work with.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a model, Herbalist, Content creator, spiritual advisor, reiki healer, hustler the whole 9.
I started my spiritual journey in 2019 and it’s been a thing since. I learned to heal, I taught others how to heal, i learned a lot about myself. People felt comfortable to come to me based off what I was posting because I understood everything. I was able to help people along their journeys with finding themselves. When I got started with photoshoot and content I was honoring my inner child, I had an idea and I just acted on it, I made videos that people genuinely enjoyed watching. It was different but yet intriguing.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Honestly I hope to have my own productions company where I manage people, I’m behind the scenes and get people to where they’re trying to go; entertainment wise
