Matthew and Irena Mielke, the owners of The Perfect Secret, came from vastly different professional and educational backgrounds. However, they shared a common passion and vision – to create a one-stop shop for all things beauty and wellness. A destination point for self-care, self-love, and luxurious pampering. They set their sites on crafting a distinctive, experience-based spa, where clients could be transported to the ultimate getaway.

With Irena’s advanced knowledge of aesthetics and Matthew’s business acumen, they produced The Perfect Secret: A roaring 20’s inspired med-spa, where one is greeted and treated like royalty. Clients can enjoy a signature honey lavender latte in the complementary red light therapy room before moving on to one of the nine treatment rooms. Each room is staffed by a highly skilled provider who specializes in a unique skill set.

The spa offers a range of services, including laser and injectables, facials, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, eyelash extensions, brow tint and lamination, hair and makeup, and more. The Perfect Secret is a place where clients can receive the highest in service plus unmatched results. We pride ourselves on offering surgical results with no downtime. Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As the vision for the business began to take shape the owners had just had their 3rd child. Their children became a significant source of inspiration for them to embrace an entrepreneurial path and embody the values they taught Chloe (4), Max (2), and newborn Esther – that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

While juggling competing priorities is like walking a tightrope, it’s also been truly enjoyable to have the kids be part of the journey. As for the business itself, it’s crucial to closely monitor the needs and wants of the client. At The Perfect Secret, we’ve done just that since day one, and have continuously adapted accordingly.

Our goal is not just to achieve customer satisfaction, but to go above and beyond, leaving our clients completely gratified and delighted. This commitment is at the core of everything we do, as we prioritize providing a complete end-to-end experience.
