Today we’d like to introduce you to Lyndsey Pieres.
Hi Lyndsey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Lyndsey Pieres, and my journey has been anything but traditional—but it’s been guided every step of the way by faith, determination, and a heart for service.
I started off as a young mom, determined to build a future not only for myself but for my family. Balancing motherhood and college wasn’t easy, but I pushed through and eventually earned my degree from Northern Arizona University (NAU). That moment was a turning point for me—a reminder that hard work, perseverance, and God’s grace can open doors you never imagined.
Today, I work as a Special Education Strategist in the Deer Valley Unified School District (DVUSD). I have the privilege of supporting special education teachers across the district, helping them create strategies, build confidence. My passion lies in making sure no child is left behind—and that educators feel empowered in their roles.
Beyond my work in education, I’m deeply involved in coaching and mentoring youth. I coach middle school basketball and lead soccer training and coached at CCV (Christ’s Church of the Valley). Sports have always been more than just a game to me—they’re an incredible tool to build character, discipline, and confidence in young athletes.
I’m also in the process of building my own portfolio for 1:1 girls’ soccer coaching sessions, where I offer personalized, skill-based training that helps girls grow not only as athletes but as individuals.
At the center of everything I do is my family and my faith. I’m raising my children to know and love God, and I strive to serve others in whatever way the Lord calls me to. Whether I’m in a classroom, on the field, or in my community, my goal is simple: to lead with purpose, love others well, and follow God’s direction—always.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Finding a good balance with work and family.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
