Today, we’d like to introduce you to Kinley Weaver.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Saguaro Valley Designs was a concept born from a love of creativity and passion for balloon decor. A few months ago, my birthday was approaching, and I was relentlessly pouring over the selection of balloons at Party City—for hours. I decided to turn to social media for some possible decorative inspiration regarding balloon design.

To my surprise, I found an endless array of unique and beautiful designs that gave me the thought that maybe I could create works of art such as the ones I was scrolling through on the Discover feed of Instagram. On my birthday, I decided to go for it and make it official. I filed the LLC for Saguaro Valley Designs, and it’s been a work in progress since then! As for the story behind the name of my company, I have always had an admiration for the beauty of the desert landscape, particularly the unique and one-of-a-kind Saguaro Cactus, so I made sure to tie it into my company name.

Thanks to the power of social media and the internet I have slowly been building a customer base and I am thankful to every single person that has helped to contribute to my success up to this point in this blossoming industry.

Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
As the saying goes, if it were easy, everyone would do it. Becoming a business owner is certainly challenging when you’re completely new to the entrepreneurial world. Every day I am learning something new and I gladly accept the challenges that accompany me as a new business owner.

I appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
At Saguaro Valley Designs, our primary service is balloon design and decor. Any type of unique and creative type of balloon design you can think of, we are able to provide. Some of the specific balloon decor we offer are balloon garlands, arches, centerpieces, hoops, free-standing helium balloons, and so much more!

Details are a key asset in making a statement with balloon decor, so having an eye for statement color schemes as well as additions to designs such as florals, foils, lighting concepts that utilize LED/neon signage, and knowing what is currently on trend is very important.

I’m all about women supporting other women in the business world, and I firmly believe in paying it forward.

There have been so many different creators in the balloon industry that I see and interact with on social media who make content purely to help other aspiring balloon artists improve their work, and I can’t say enough about how much they inspire and help educate others in the industry.
