Today we’d like to introduce you to JoDee Tester Emily Brumfield

Hi JoDee Tester, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
We purchased. Franchise in November 2023 and opened 2/15/24. We have always wanted to start a business together since we met while working as RNs in ED 18 years ago. We both have a great love for animals and when Woofie’s can into our purview we knew it was our destiny.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Struggles are the same for any small business and there are glitches along the way for sure. We have been very blessed to have been welcomed by the communities in which we serve. We have been able to establish relationships with other small business owners through chamber of commerce connections in the communities we serve.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We offer the services of pet sitting, dog walking, and mobile grooming. We take personalized pet care to the next level. Each pet sitting/dog walking client gets a complimentary in home client consult. We want to learn about our clients and their precious animals. It is important to orarm the animals routine and temperament in order to specialize their care and msych them with the right pet sitter/dog walker. We also go out and meet our new mobile pet spa clients for first MPS experience with Woofie’s.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success in our industry are happy clients and that is both the humans and animals. If at the end of the day a client would be willing to recommend us to their friends we have been successful.
