Today we’d like to introduce you to Devilz Playground.

Hello Devilz Playground, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
After the death of my dad, I didn’t know how to cope with the feelings that came with grief, especially anger, and music turned into my outlet and therapy. Later on in life I began to write music it all started with a poem my mom wrote dedicated to my dad back in 1982 and I turned around and made it into a song called “Struggle” available on all major platforms.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve had challenges and one that always seems to haunt me is my self-confidence.

Sometimes we can be our own worst critics and I have always been very critical of myself there have been moments when I have questioned if my music is good enough. But I have come to understand that I want to spread a message through my songs, I write stories that anybody can relate to.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a major hip-hop/rap recording artist distributing my music through Empire. Currently, I am dropping a new single every month on all major platforms. My style of writing is very versatile, switching between rap and hip-hop. I like to consider myself an unorthodox rapper, I have a unique sound.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out.
First of all, don’t ever give up! If you have a passion or a dream don’t ever stop working on it!

Surround yourself with people who are at your same vibrational level, energy is everything so it’s very important you are around the right vibe and positivity. I have learned that you are able to be your own independent artist without having to sign any record deals.
