Hi Darious, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Darious Lyles, also known as D. Lylez, is a native of Chicago’s south side Englewood neighborhood. At the age of 9, D. Lylez began singing at his parents’ church, which later led him to elevate his talent to greater heights. He participated in season 18 of “The Voice,” where he ranked in the top 24 in the country. Additionally, he was nominated for the 2022 Grammys with a Chicago group named Ten City. D. Lylez enjoys bringing people together and bridging the gap between the new and older generations. He also loves creating a unique brand that uplifts and inspires.

D. Lylez appreciates being a versatile artist, singing a variety of genres ranging from RnB, soul, pop, EDM, and much more. Not only is he a singer, but he is also a songwriter and producer. Due to his hard work and dedication, he has been recognized by Grammy-winning producer Toxic. In fact, D. Lylez signed with Toxic’s production company, Blockhouse Studios. Throughout his career, D. Lylez has been fortunate to work with many legends in the music industry who have greatly influenced him.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
