Today we’d like to introduce you to CarieAnn Ochs.

Hi CarieAnn, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I cut raw minerals (rocks, crystals) And make them wearable.
Making them into necklaces, bracelets, Sun catchers, etc. Using mostly wire wrap. I also research the many benefits associated with the minerals to help clients use that particular energy from that rock to help in natural healing,

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have had challenges with working full-time and trying to start my business. And trying to navigate things online. Also balancing business life and family life.
I have also had challenges and learning experiences with different minerals. But it has been a very exciting journey!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I like to cut the minerals into pieces that can be used for jewelry. But trying to keep them as natural as possible. I will then tumble them, polish them, shape them by allowing the rock to guide me. I then wire wrap them, and when I am wire wrapping I just follow what feels right for that mineral. I try to use as little wire as possible so that the mineral is the centerpiece.
I love the many layers that are found in minerals.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
To do things for yourself. And no matter what believe in yourself and do not worry about what others think. If it feels good to you and you are helping other people it cannot be wrong
