Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Wojciak.
Hi Andrea, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I represented a few Interior Designers when I worked in PR and was always curious and slightly jealous of their jobs! I love that pang of envy sometimes leads to our deepest desires. When my kids were all off to school, I decided to go back and study interior design. I never expected to grow as fast as I have, and I’m still so grateful to my friends for trusting me in the early days and recommending me to people in our community.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I constantly struggle with work/life balance. There have been so many times when I’ve questioned whether I can be a “good mom” and also have a successful business. There are always days when this comes up for me, but for the most part, I am convinced that having my work and my passion is what makes me a better mom.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As an interior designer, part of my job is storytelling. Beyond the form and function (which I also obsess over), our homes should reflect who we are, the places we’ve been, and how we see the world. I want my clients to have a home that hugs them and the ones they love and says, “you are home.” I am always wanting to push the envelope and do different! I’m always looking for that special project where clients are willing to take risks and fully trust in the design process. I am primarily a residential interior designer, but I am known for my work on The County Seat, an awesome restaurant in downtown Prescott.
We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something you might be surprised by is my weird and varied career goals. Right now, I would love to do a historic home in Prescott. Wallpaper in every room, painted molding, antiques! Please give me all the traditional right now. I’d also love to design an elevator or a yacht. I also would love for the RV industry should give me a call. I have ideas!
