Conversations with Alondra Champagne

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alondra Champagne.

Hi Alondra, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I got started on TikTok a couple of years ago thanks to my young sister, she was the one who believed in me before anyone else did. My sister saw potential and I am very grateful she was persistent until she convinced me to download the app and submit my first few videos. One of my videos went viral and it was surreal that I gained so many followers, who have been very supportive.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has its ups and downs but that’s just life. The downside of it all is the online bullying but that happens everywhere, at work, with family, in public places, I just have to learn how to cope and move forwards with it without affecting me or others.

I do not focus on the number either I am still doing it to reach out and make someone’s day and educate people. I end up loving it because its fun. If I reached out to at least one person then that’s all I need I have completed my task.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a Dental Assistant have been doing it for 8 years now but also create videos to hopefully bring a smile to other people’s faces.

I do education videos in regards to dental tips but also funny and dance videos. I am proud that I have touched people’s lives that they decided to follow me. I don’t think I am any special, perhaps just my determination and my personality attract those who can relate to me.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My sister for sure has helped me a lot to grow as a person but also on all my social media platforms, my mother who loves to make videos with me and supports me on anything I want to accomplish, my followers for staying with me through thick and thin. I have experienced a miscarriage and took a break from social media and when I came back they were still there for me.
