Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis and Trish Vickers.
Hi Alexis and Trish, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We are sisters-in-law and stay-at-home moms. We realized that our shared love for affordable fashion and unique height differences could be a great way to connect with other like-minded women, esp. moms.
It’s hard finding new friends when you have little ones at home, and of course, the pandemic didn’t help. So we started talking about and posting try-on showcasing clothes and the way they fit our different bodies. The response has been so great!
We have LOVED connecting with other gals that can commiserate with being tall or being short, being a parent, and all the hats that we wear. It’s a fun outlet for us to create content, discover and work with new local and non-local brands, and make friends along the way.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not necessarily. As mentioned, it’s been a fun and creative outlet for us; it has broken up the isolation of being stay-at-home moms, especially during the pandemic.
But it’s an ever-evolving market. Maintaining constant growth, and staying on top of current trends on social media, all while juggling our families’ schedules can be tricky. But we make it work!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are both stay-at-home moms of 3 kiddos each.
Alexis is formerly a kindergarten teacher. Trish is a military spouse who has lived just about everywhere.
We both have enjoyed this new role as digital content creators as a way to meet new people and share our love of affordable fashion!
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
We’d say we’ve been pretty lucky!
This page has opened us up to an incredible community of women who inspire us daily. As cheesy as it sounds, We think we’ve learned a lot about practicing what we preach and loving the skin we’re each in.
We have been so fortunate to have had many incredible opportunities that probably would never have happened if it wasn’t for the connections we’ve made in this space.
