Sasha, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
LOVE BOX specializes in handcrafted fresh floral arrangements in an elegant box. I have always enjoyed flowers and being crafty, so I thought, why not start a new trend here in the Phoenix Metro area of unique floral arrangements? LOVE BOX aims to enhance your typical bouquet — flowers last just as long as a typical bouquet, usually longer, but you don’t have to deal with the maintenance of changing out water in a vase. LOVE BOX arrangements come equipped with a special wet foam that keeps flowers hydrated and generally don’t need to be watered. When the flowers are ready to be removed, you can reuse your clean, elegant box for storage.

After nearly 7 months of the launch of this small business. I hope to keep growing and learning more about bettering my products.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Just as any small business out there, the main struggle is building an audience or clientelle when starting from the very beginning. Many people starting a small business expect to be making millions overnight. The beginning is the hardest part because I had to figure out what works best and what doesn’t work at all for LOVE BOX. It takes trial and error to figure out how the make the product perfect.

My main goal is to share my hobby with those around me and hope to keep spreading it by networking.

My advice for others wanting to start a small business or trend is to keep working toward it and showcasing their work through networking. Many successful businesses started off as a simple hobby. If there’s a passion for the work, people will recognize it and most people will support someone like that. It is also important to remind yourself that success will not happen over night. Surround yourself with people that support what you’re doing and be open to new ideas and advice from others.

LOVE BOX specializes in handcrafted fresh floral arrangements in a unique, elegant box. Our arrangements are unique because they enhance the typical bouquet, they don’t require daily water changes in a vase, and you are left with a reusable box.

LOVE BOX offers arrangements in all shapes and sizes and even does custom orders. Our arrangements are great for gift giving, event centerpieces or just home decor for your dining room table.

Looking back on your childhood, what experiences do you feel played an important role in shaping the person you grew up to be?
I have always been artistic growing up and also have always loved flowers. I found this to be a way to showcase my craftsmanship while making unforgettable moments.
