Today we’d like to introduce you to Yuleth Koenig.
Hi Yuleth , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m the heart and hands behind WildBloom&Koe. I was born in Mexico and raised in Tucson, and I’ve always been happiest outdoors — In my free time I volunteer for the Southern Arizona Rescue Association, I enjoy hiking, paddleboarding, running backpacking, or just soaking in the little things like a warm cup a coffee and a good book – anything that keeps me grounded and inspired.
WildBloom&Koe really began after my own wedding. Preserving my bouquet was one of the most meaningful things I did, and that frame is still my favorite piece in our home. What started as a personal keepsake quickly turned into a passion — I fell in love with pressing flowers and the delicate, creative process behind it.
Not long after, life threw me a curveball when I was unexpectedly laid off. At the time it was scary, but now I see it as a gift because it pushed me toward something I might never have done on my own. With my background in hospitality and business management, I was able to build the business from the ground up — the website, the branding, the licensing and permits, everything really.
Today, I get to preserve wedding bouquets, memorial flowers, and life’s most special moments in a way people can hold onto forever. I’ve already been so moved by the honor of creating these pieces — it brings me to tears seeing how much one of my frames can mean to someone. For me, WildBloom&Koe is more than just flowers — it’s about slowing down, savoring the small moments, and creating something deeply meaningful. That’s the heart behind what I do.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road at all. I’ve had to wear every hat — creator, accountant, web designer, marketer. There have been countless late nights and early mornings finishing frames, researching, brainstorming new ideas, building, and testing new techniques just to figure out what would actually work. I’ve had setbacks, like frames arriving with defects or adhesives that failed. And I’ve doubted myself at times, wondering if I was really capable of turning this passion into a business.
But I’ve learned to see struggles as part of the process. Every challenge has made me stronger and more committed to preserving people’s memories beautifully. Each time I’ve pushed through doubt and come out on the other side, I’ve been reminded that I am capable of doing hard things. Those lessons are what keep me moving forward, and they’re helping me bloom in ways I never imagined.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about WildBloom&Koe?
WildBloom&Koe is a pressed-floral art studio based in Tucson, though I’ve embraced Phoenix as part of my community too — with so much family and friends there, it feels just as close to home. My work is dedicated to preserving life’s most meaningful blooms so they can be cherished forever. I specialize in custom flower preservation — wedding bouquets, memorial flowers, anniversary blooms, or any special arrangement someone wants to hold onto. More recently, I’ve also begun creating custom art with pressed flowers, which has been an exciting extension of the brand.
The name itself carries deep meaning. Wild speaks to my love for nature and the freedom I’ve found in being my truest, most authentic self. Bloom represents both the flowers I work with and the personal growth I’ve experienced throughout this journey — a reminder that beauty comes from opening up and evolving. And Koe comes from my last name, Koenig. It’s also a little nod to “& Co.” but with a personal twist. Including it honors my husband and our partnership, because his love and support have been such a huge part of this journey.
Even my logo was chosen with care. It features mountains, eucalyptus, and florals — symbols of grounding, resilience, and growth. The mountains reflect the place where I feel most alive, while the eucalyptus climbing upward represents resilience and the way my heart has continued to bloom. It’s more than just a logo — it’s a reflection of what WildBloom&Koe stands for: preserving what matters most, with care and intention.
Each flower I preserve is carefully pressed and arranged into a timeless frame that becomes a one-of-a-kind keepsake. What sets WildBloom&Koe apart is the combination of artistry and heart behind every piece. My favorite thing is how every flower presses differently — each one unique, beautiful, and perfectly imperfect in its own way. I don’t just preserve flowers; I preserve stories, memories, and emotions. Every frame is handmade by me alone, designed not only to look beautiful but to carry deep personal meaning for my clients. That’s why people feel connected to my work — it’s not just décor, it’s a piece of their life captured in bloom.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the authenticity and intimacy behind WildBloom&Koe. From the earthy, nature-inspired branding to the thoughtful process I walk each client through, I want people to feel seen, cared for, and connected. This is more than a transaction — it’s about trust, emotion, and honoring something sacred.
At the heart of it all, WildBloom&Koe exists to help people preserve their most cherished memories. Whether it’s the joy of a wedding, the celebration of an anniversary, or the memory of a loved one, my goal is to create something that lasts forever — a reminder to slow down, savor & cherish the small moment, and keep love in bloom.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Shoot, I wish I had a clear formula — I’m still figuring this part out myself. What I’ve learned, though, is that the most important thing is making sure any connections or networking really align with your authentic self. If it doesn’t feel like you or you are working with people or things that do not align with what you believe you are never going to jive. For me, one of the things I had to work on meant I had to put myself out there on social media, even though I’d much rather be behind the scenes. I’m more introverted around strangers, so being in front of the camera or constantly sharing doesn’t come naturally. But I’ve had to push myself out of my comfort zone, because I know it’s important for both me and my business.
I’ve found that when I do show up in ways that feel true to me — whether that’s sharing my process, my story, or just little glimpses of my life — that’s when I make the most meaningful connections. So my advice is: don’t force yourself to network in a way that feels fake. Find the spaces and ways of showing up that reflect who you really are, and lean into that.
