Hi Vincent, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2023, I reached one of the lowest points of my life. I felt completely lost, struggling with depression more deeply than I ever had before, and honestly believed that I wouldn’t make it through the year. At that time, life seemed dark, empty, and without purpose. But through the grace of God, something incredible began to happen. He started sending people into my life who helped rekindle my spirit and inspire a renewed sense of hope.
Gradually, I began to feel a spark reignite within me. I reflected back on my years in sales and my experiences in sports. I remembered what it felt like to be part of a team, to set goals, and to strive for excellence. This led me to ask myself, “What can I excel at, and how can I make a meaningful impact on others?”
It was during this period of introspection that I stumbled upon Pace Morby’s YouTube videos on real estate. His enthusiasm for the industry filled me with curiosity. I’d always thought real estate was just for the wealthy, that it revolved around buying and selling houses alone. But I soon discovered that real estate offered opportunities far beyond what I’d imagined. The more I learned, the more I felt compelled to dig deeper.
Then I met Ryan Schrope, a mentor who would prove instrumental in my journey. With his guidance, I didn’t just become a transactional lender, I found my purpose and identity as The Bearded Lender. Helping real estate investors and working alongside talented professionals in this industry has been a journey like no other, full of rewarding moments and challenges that have only fueled my growth.
Looking back, I believe real estate didn’t just open doors for me; it saved my life. This path has given me a renewed sense of purpose, and I’m incredibly grateful to be able to support and uplift others through the work I do.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Like anyone venturing into something new, I faced struggles with staying focused and keeping myself motivated. As a newcomer to real estate, imposter syndrome crept in. I often questioned whether I was truly prepared for the path ahead. But I’m incredibly fortunate to have a supportive community and an amazing wife by my side, both of whom have been invaluable in helping me stay on course.
At one point, I realized I had to push through my doubts because I had the knowledge, tools, and resources to be successful. More importantly, I recognized that if I didn’t step up, I’d be letting down those who could benefit from my support. This perspective has been my driving force, reminding me every day why I’m committed to this journey.

My business, The Bearded Lender, is built around more than just providing funding for Earnest Money Deposits (EMD) and double-closes. While I specialize in those areas, my real focus is on solving problems, uplifting investors, and offering a partnership that goes beyond the transaction. My goal is to be a trusted resource and to help my clients succeed by addressing their unique needs and challenges with flexibility and dedication.
What sets The Bearded Lender apart is the commitment to serve. I’m proud that my brand doesn’t just represent my business but also stands for empowerment, a helping hand, and the mindset that no hurdle is insurmountable. Knowing that my clients feel supported and that we’re creating positive impacts together is something I hold close. It’s a great feeling to walk into a real estate event and hear someone call out, “Hey, it’s The Bearded Lender!” because it tells me that I’m making an impression and, hopefully, a difference.
