Hi Travis, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My wife and I are based out of Surprise, AZ, and we started our small business, FN House Toys and Games, part-time in 2019. We rescue and resell vintage toys, games, collectibles, and antiques from our e-Bay store and our antique mall case. We source our items from thrift stores, charity resale shops, yard sales, and flea markets across the Phoenix valley. Our process includes research, cleaning, repair, photography, and honestly describing our items. We document our items on Social Media, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube. We have thousands of photos posted along with helpful information about each toy and game. We are in our third year of business, and we love what we do. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As new sellers, we were limited by e-Bay in the beginning with how many listings we could have. We started with 5, and we have worked our way up to 1,900. Our focus has been customer service, and we have accumulated 450+ reviews with 100% customer satisfaction. Our entire journey has been a learning experience, and we have grown just as our store has grown.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We have the best job ever! We get to rescue super cool toys from thrift stores and resell them in our virtual Toy Store. We are a literal Mom and Pop small business, and we are hands-on with all aspects of FN House Toys and Games. What sets us apart from other online sellers is our commitment to providing as much details as possible in our listings and social media posts. We established our branding early, and we are proud to have created all of our own original art for advertising. We currently have over 700 active listings in our e-Bay store, and we have a glass case at Brass Armadillo Antique Mall in Goodyear, AZ.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Our commitment to customer service has been our most influential characteristic. With over 1,000 online sales, there were definitely some mistakes made and bumps in the road. We have taken accountability for any errors, and we have emphasized fast and honest communication. Because of this, we have maintained a 100% satisfaction rating since we started.
