Community Highlights: Meet Tiara Carroll of Amor of GLam, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiara Carroll.

Hi Tiara, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always had a love for creating things. There is no better feeling than to see something that I created whether a product or experience, bring a smile to someone’s face. I began to notice that same love for creativity in my daughter Genai, and I wanted to further develop this love. Genai was always playing in my makeup, mixing colors, and glamming up her dolls so I wanted to find her something designed more for kids. At the time, there weren’t many kid inspired lip gloss and accessory lines to choose from, so I asked her if she wanted to create her own. She of course said “yes” excitedly, and we decided to start her a lip-gloss/accessory business in 2020 called Amor of GLaM, LLC. Creating a brand that she can grow with as it expands and take over when she feels ready.
I will always be proud to have the opportunity to start this with my daughter Genai when she was just four years old, out of a desire to create a natural based lip care line for little girls, to create intentional moments of joy, bonding, and to allow her to further develop her creative expression. We started with lip-gloss and accessories then quickly evolved into birthday spa party experiences, take home spa kits, to now a full-blown movement for confidence-building and emotional empowerment.
As we continue to grow and expand, we find joy in seeing the love we receive from our customers, from our launch to beyond. The excitement on their faces when they visited our vendor booth at events, the continuous support we received, and love for our products.
My journey continues with faith, prayer, and a passion for creating a safe space for kids to be themselves and build confidence. We know that there is something more—something purposeful I was meant to build. I know now that Amor of Glam was created not just as a business, but as a platform of love, confidence, and self-worth for children and families.
For me, the ‘why’ is simple: I’m here to be an example of what’s possible when you trust God’s plan, listen to your purpose, and build something that leaves your children empowered, your community better than you found it, and give children the tools to love themselves early and deeply.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Over the years I’ve learned that entrepreneurship is a constant evolution of your personal and spiritual journey—and smooth is rarely part of the process. It comes with unexpected challenges, growing pains, and the reality that nothing meaningful is built without sacrifice and surrender.
As I reflect, there have been bumps over the years that at the time I did not understand, but I now know were necessary. I’ve had to learn how to shift when plans fall through, trust my instincts when the outcome was unclear, and give myself grace in moments of uncertainty. That’s a part of the process no one talks about enough. Maturity in business doesn’t just come with strategy—it comes with self-care, discipline, and intention. What I’ve learned over the years? Authenticity is the key to creating your own lane. Understand that comparison is a distraction, what is meant for you, is for YOU. Focus and believe that being you is your superpower. Also, how you care for yourself — what you read, what you consume, what you tell yourself — all shapes your journey.
You’ll fail sometimes. You’ll get it wrong. But that’s part of the growth. Every challenge has deepened my character, stretched my faith, and helped me refine my mission. And in those moments, I always return to center: my purpose, my family, and my faith in God.

If entrepreneurship teaches you anything, it’s that the road to purpose is never smooth — but it’s always worth it.

As you know, we’re big fans of Amor of GLam, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
At Amor of Glam, we specialize in creating unforgettable kid spa experiences rooted in self love, creativity, and empowerment. From individual Spa appointments and group spa parties to wellness workshops, our signature Grow & Glow Kit Collection, and our amazing skin care products, everything we do is designed to help children and families feel celebrated, seen, and nurtured.
My background is in healthcare—over 20 years in the field as a Registered Nurse, working in mental health to my experience as a licensed Esthetician and PMU artist, I am well educated to provide a safe and individualized experience for children in many capacities and backgrounds. I have also developed a love for making our own household skin care products with natural ingredients so our products are made with love. I’m also a proud mother of four children. So, that blend of wellness, experience, and motherhood is what shapes the heart of our brand.
What sets us apart is our purpose and love for what we do. We’re nurse-owned, family-built, faith-led, and child-centered. We don’t just offer spa services—we create moments that matter. We teach self-love, encourage bonding, and give children the tools to build confidence from the inside out. I’m most proud of the personal and professional growth I’ve experienced and the way my children—especially my daughter—have blossomed through entrepreneurship. This isn’t just a business. We are creating a legacy.
Everything we create is rooted in wellness, fun, and love. Our Grow & Glow Kits are uniquely designed to help children explore their emotions, grow through hard things, and connect with their loved ones in meaningful ways. Every product and party is created to build confidence, emotional intelligence, and lasting family bonds.
I’m proud of how far we’ve come — from spa parties with my daughter at age 4 to launching a kit line that’s now reaching families beyond our local community. But I’m most proud of the example we’re setting for our children: teaching balance, purpose, business skills, and self-love all at once. This is a family business in every sense — we build it together, grow through it together, and glow from it together.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
You can’t step into something new without letting go of certainty. I believe risk, when aligned with faith and vision, becomes the bridge to transformation. Taking risks is part of walking in faith. In business, there’s no way to grow without stepping outside your comfort zone. Every product launch, new service, or shift in structure is a leap—and you never truly know what’s on the other side unless you try.
One of the biggest risks I took was adjusting our operating hours. For years we booked clients Friday through Sunday, but we decided to close on Sundays to honor family time and rest. That meant giving up potential bookings and trusting that the clients would adjust—and they did. That shift gave me peace, balance, and time to pour back into my family and business with intention.
Risks don’t guarantee results, but they guarantee growth. Even if something flops, you gain wisdom. And if it flies, you gain momentum. Either way, don’t regret the risk you didn’t take. Your dream is worth the leap.
Every new launch — like our Grow & Glow Kit Collection — is a risk. Will it be received? Will it make an impact? But I’ve learned that you can’t fear failure more than you crave alignment. Whether it flops or flies, the lesson is always useful.
I encourage anyone reading this to take the leap. You will never regret a risk that came from your heart. You’ll only regret the ones you talked yourself out of.
