Community Highlights: Meet Stacie Sumpter of Palms and Pines Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacie Sumpter.

Stacie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have always been known to push myself. When I was in college I had approval from my Dean of school to course overload during the year and take extra classes during the summer and was able to graduate with my degree in 2.5 years. Not only was I busy with my class load, but I also held two on-campus jobs and was the Event Chair for the Relay for Life and bringing this event from the American Cancer Society to my school for the very first time, no pressure!

Fast forward to college and I obtained a lot of different industry knowledge from the variety of jobs I held from Project Manager at a web & app development company to Marketing and Events and even managing projects & teams in vendor/dealer relationship companies.

This has all led up to where I am today, as the Marketing Manager and Team Coordinator of the Palms and Pines Group at West USA Realty (also holding a real estate license myself). This is a team and brand that I have been having the pleasure of building from the ground up. For the first time, I have had the opportunity to help create something that didn’t exist before. I helped develop the processes, procedures, brand, events, and the list goes on as I wear many hats now (but that tends to happen when you create something new). I couldn’t be happier where I am now but will never forget everything I learned that got me to this point.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Starting something new can definitely have its challenges. There are growing pains. You may start with one set of procedures but as you start to work through things in the real world, you have to continuously improve upon them.

This goes for all aspects of the business, always improving and bettering as you grow.

As you know, we’re big fans of Palms and Pines Group. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are the Palms and Pines Group at West USA Realty in Arizona. We specialize in buying, selling, property management, and finding rentals. We are unique in that we service from the Pines of Northern Arizona to the Palms of the West Valley (hence the name Palms and Pines Group). We have access to multiple MLSs that allow us to tap into this variety of markets across Arizona that we are committed to. We are continuously growing and adding team members to expand.

I’m most proud that when part of our team you are also able to let your individuality shine as we provide customized materials to use and even a personal landing page. You’re not just part of a team, but a group of individuals who are there to support each others’ goals and help you grow your own business. Not only do we live in the communities we work in but we give back as well. We are involved in setting up community events and volunteering consistently.

With our team being multi-generational, this provides a unique real estate experience with the years to back it and the new technology and ideas to further us. It’s a team like no other!

What makes you happy?
Happiness for me is giving my all in my career and creating something that I believe in. Then at the end of the day, knowing I have such a loving and supportive family to come home to.
