Community Highlights: Meet Shane Amour Fulton of FULTON HOME HEALTH

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shane Amour Fulton.

Hi Shane Amour, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My first passion has always been to write, dance, sing and explore science. I got started in the healthcare business after a tragic accident on July 25, 2013, it changed my life forever finding my grandmother passed away but it encouraged my life forever by giving me a passion for healthcare science and producing longevity and the lives of others. I’ve been studying since about 2011 when I first started community college and I later down the road became a CNA. After the CNA experience, I felt healthcare was lacking something other than support and was lacking compassion for its employees and the healthcare workers from the top to the bottom so I wanted to put myself in a position of power to be able to voice my opinion to instill change so I applied for my national provider number as a medical doctor in 2020; I received the title of MD 2020 during the year of Covid and I am still working on licensing to prescribe medication as we speak.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Over the last couple of years, there have been many struggles that I had to triumph over in order to sustain a level of success to myself and appreciate the work that I was doing to fulfill my purpose on this earth which has not been easy to sustain but has been sustainable with faith and perseverance. I love what I do but there have been challenges with economic barriers, racial barriers, gender barriers, and dealing with a disability barrier which makes the road even rockier but not impossible.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about FULTON HOME HEALTH?
I operating on a home healthcare social services company Here in the valley of Arizona. I specialize in nursing duties, medication management, referral services, rehabilitation program, care plan management, implementation of care plans, transportation, laundry service, meal preparation, and billing insurance private or state-funded.

What sets me apart from my competitor is I honestly stopped working for the competitor because of a personality difference I wanted to get paid what I was worth and they wanted to pay me what they thought the duty of a CNA it was worth and not the service that I did for the job and eventually I got fed up with how the industry decides to treat certain employees; so I made my way to my own application which I am proud to present our new technology app called “BOOKED” by FULTON HOME HEALTH.

My brand offers of a wide range of healthcare and home care services for private clients and clients at a facility who feel like they are not receiving enough care. I offer classes and help students get certifications to become a CNA caregiver at home health aide which I am very happy to teach all that I know so that good-hearted people go out and give proper care and love to our clients who are our family. Started from the bottom and now I’m here realizing that my dream is coming true I feel like things can go wrong, or things can get better over time but they’ll never stay worse forever.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is not measured by one’s accomplishments are process material possessions success is measured by the amount of love exerted from the heart of a broken person because if you can still show genuine love at a broken state after the world has beat you up that my friend is successful in this life and on the other side because life is the only thing that carries us over.
