Community Highlights: Meet Rick Doyle of The Money Circle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rick Doyle.

Hi Rick, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I moved to arizona around 2013 after graduating college in illinois and realizing that the career path that I had chosen was not what I was passionate about nor what I saw myself doing the rest of my life, so on a whim I decided to up and move to arizona to try and figure out what drove me and who I what and what legacy I wanted to leave behind. I went from job to job to job and nothing really stuck and then something interesting happened. I had sold a small automotive detail company I had and found myself BROKE immediately after selling the company. And this experience made me realize that I had poor money management skills and a lack of knowledge for exactly how money works. Being my family could barely make ends meet after the 2008 economic crash I knew that I was destined to end up like that if I did nothing. This drove me to pick up every book and study as much as I could on the ins and outs of wealth and how to have a healthy and responsible relationship with money. This was the start of my finance journey and it lead me to start creating social media content to document what I was learning as a journal of sorts. I became fascinated with how it all worked and the more I learned the more I wanted to give back. This lead to me having 3 separate licenses in the financial world and I began working with clients one on one to better help them prepare for whatever life threw at them financially. During this time I still continued to make content to educate my audience on how money works because I realized that if people just understand the basic principals of money they too could create a world free of stress, worry and disappointment. I had finally found my passion. Now I am 10 years into the finance world and 5 years into making content everyday and I am blessed to say I inspire 150k every day to grasp financial concepts and help them succeed. My business is now a private community where we teach financial education to anyone wanting to learn these concepts while also getting tailored advice and guidance to properly execute on the money goals they have for themselves.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Business is never a straight path it something to molds and shapes you. I have dealt with a lot of struggles along the way including almost losing my entire audience in a single day. I believe though that persistence is the key to success in business

We are a group of 150k members who believe that financial education should be readily available to those who want to better understand it and overcome some of the struggles they maybe going through. We do this by connecting in a community setting online where financial experts and everyday people can come together to work and learn and hit the money goals they have free of competition or stress or worry.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Absolutely finance is moving towards a more transparent space. For far too long most have struggled to under concepts and that has left them with doubt and worry and stress. With transparency this will solve that problem and build more trust within the industry.
