Hi Rae, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Born and raised in Arizona, I knew early on that traditional college wasn’t for me. After finishing high school, I pursued my passion for skincare, graduating from aesthetics school in 2015 and earning my license in 2017. I started my career at a waxing salon in Chandler, where I worked my way up from waxer to trainer and manager over four fulfilling years.

After the pandemic, I decided to take a step back from the industry and reevaluate my path. A couple of years later, I was blessed with opportunities I couldn’t pass up, and Razzberrhi Aesthetics was born.

The name Razzberrhi started as a nickname in my early 20s and has always been a part of my personal brand. I chose the unique spelling because it felt authentic to me, would stand out, and be memorable. Two years in, going into my third, I’m proud of how far I’ve come and grateful for the trust my clients place in me.

At Razzberrhi Aesthetics, I offer a range of services, from waxing and brow treatments to customized facials and advanced treatments like chemical peels, microneedling, and microinfusion. My goal is to help every client feel confident, radiant, and cared for with a tailored approach to their skincare needs.

One day, I dream of opening a storefront with a team of passionate professionals, building a brand that’s recognizable in the community, and creating the freedom to continue growing personally and professionally. I’m excited to see where 2025 takes me and am so grateful to be on this journey.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting Razzberrhi Aesthetics felt like a dream falling into place. The opportunities came so aligned that the transition to owning my own business felt almost smooth—at least at first. But as a solo esthetician without a classical education or business background, I quickly realized how much I didn’t know. Most days, I still don’t have all the answers, but I’m figuring it out step by step.

2024, though, was the year that tested me more than ever. After some tough life changes, I almost gave up on myself—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. There were days when it felt like everything was too hard, and I questioned my passion and whether I was cut out for this journey.

But something shifted after my 29th birthday in October. I made the decision to bet on myself—to go all in, even if I didn’t have it all figured out. And so far, it’s proving to be more worthwhile than I could have ever dreamed.

While going through the hard was, well, hard, I wouldn’t change it for anything. Those struggles made me dig deep and ask myself what I truly wanted from the life in front of me. Every lesson, no matter how painful, pushed me closer to who I am today.

Through it all, the trust and support of my clients reminded me why I started this journey in the first place. Their confidence in me gave me the strength to rebuild my confidence in myself. Now, as I head into 2025, I’m more determined than ever to grow Razzberrhi Aesthetics into the thriving, recognizable brand I know it can be.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the personal connection I’ve built with my clients and the name Razzberrhi itself. What started as a nickname in my 20s has evolved into something that feels authentically me and stands out in a memorable way. It’s more than a brand—it’s an extension of my journey, passion, and vision for the future.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned on this journey is that when you lead with love, the rewards will come back to you equally, if not more. It’s so easy to get caught up in the noise—whether it’s self-doubt, comparison, or fear of failure—but I’ve realized that when I shove all of that aside and focus on being of service to those around me, everything aligns.

There’s a kind of magic that happens when you pour your heart into your work and approach each moment with genuine care and intention. The universe has a way of showing love back in the most amazing and unexpected ways. Whether it’s through the trust and gratitude of my clients, personal growth, or the opportunities that seem to find me, I’m constantly reminded that leading with love is the foundation of everything good in my life and business.

This lesson has transformed not only how I approach my work but also how I see challenges. It’s become my compass, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
