Community Highlights: Meet Paige Arnone of Firstgevity

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paige Arnone

Hi Paige, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
To really understand how I got to where I am today, it’s important to know where I came from. From a very young age, I had to learn how to survive and protect myself. My biological parents both struggled with addiction, and my dad was in and out of prison. I experienced severe domestic violence, which forced me to grow up quickly. I struggled with debilitating anxiety and constant panic attacks, and at one point, I went down a dark path. I knew I had to make a change to avoid repeating my parents’ path.

Yoga was that change. In many ways, it saved my life — teaching me self-compassion and healing. Eventually, I decided to become a yoga teacher because I knew that if yoga could help me, it could help others too — and making a difference became my mission.

I earned my 200-hour and 500-hour designations at Modern Yoga in Scottsdale. I taught in studios, retreats, and even worked with professional athletes, but my purpose became clear when I started teaching first responders.

I worked with first responder agencies across the valley teaching injury prevention and stress management techniques through yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. It was a calling to give back to those who sacrifice for our safety, and it ultimately led me to found Firstgevity.

Firstgevity is a virtual wellness company specializing in peak mental and physical training for optimal performance, tailored specifically for those who put their lives on the line every day.

My journey — from a childhood filled with trauma to discovering the healing power of yoga — influences everything I do at Firstgevity. Today, we serve over 6,000 first responders in Arizona and partner with first responder agencies nationwide, providing the critical wellness resources they need to not just survive but truly thrive.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Becoming a full-time yoga teacher definitely isn’t as glamorous as it might seem on social media. I spent years rubbing two pennies together, working 15-hour days, seven days a week, just to make it all happen. I sacrificed everything to help others and pursue this career.

When I first ventured into entrepreneurship, I financed my very first camera and created an online yoga program from scratch. Then, when I founded Firstgevity, I went all in, sacrificing everything yet again to bring this vision to life. People doubted me, but I always advocated and believed in myself.

Was it easy? Absolutely not. Was it worth it? 10000000% yes. Every struggle, every sacrifice, has been worth it to make a difference and support first responders in a way that truly matters.

We’ve been impressed with Firstgevity , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m known for my expertise, but more importantly, I’m known for being deeply committed to first responders. I exclusively work with them, which means I’m fully integrated into their world and dedicated to creating a program that actually makes a difference — one that reduces injuries and supports positive mental health.

What I’m most proud of are the relationships I’ve built and the real impact this program is having. The testimonials and partnerships mean the world to me, and knowing we’re making a difference drives everything we do.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I’m a total foodie, and Phoenix has the best food in the valley. From incredible restaurants to unique coffee shops, there’s always something new to try. Plus, the city has a really great vintage scene, which adds to the fun and creative vibe. There’s just so much character here.

I’d say the only downside is the summer heat (which everyone already knows), but even with that, there’s just something special about Phoenix that keeps me here.
