Community Highlights: Meet Naomi Turner of Elite Recruiting Services

Today we’d like to introduce you to Naomi Turner.

Naomi, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve been in Automotive since I graduated from high school. I grew up in Glendale and graduated from Deer Valley High. I’ve done everything from Sales to Sales Manager and worked for the VP/ Part Owner of Berkshire Hathaway Automotive. I worked as his Primary recruiting assistant and recruited for 30 plus dealerships the wester region. I utilized the entire nation as a resource for recruiting talent.

My boss had retired and I decided to go to work for a Luxury Automotive Group in Glendale. I then proceeded to recruit for BMW, Volvo, and JLR. BMW was open, while Volvo & JLR were dirt lots at the time. I completely Staffed all dealerships all the while as I was   working as a Sales Manager. Additionally, I managed CSI for all 3 points for sales as well as service. After 2 years, I decided to leave the company and start my own venture!

That is how Elite Recruiting Services started in May of 2022!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been the smoothest road! Being a New Business Owner, it’s almost like playing the game “the floor is lava and everything is on fire”. There’s a tremendous amount of problem-solving and overcoming obstacles along the way! All in all, it has been super rewarding seeing a business grown right in front of your eyes!It has been humbling and  rewarding.

I am proud to announce that this month, I am growing my company and adding 2 additional employees! There’s such a demand for great employees from the Employers and Applicant’s standpoint as well. This is why I love what I do strictly because I truly get to help people every single day. People, whose families were praying for opportunities, and looking for a great atmosphere, and growth. Also, I love watching the reward of other people’s businesses grow and do better. It is exciting to know I helped and had a little part of their Success.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Elite Recruiting Services LLC?
I am an Automotive Recruiter! I staff up all facets of the Dealerships including some positions that most can’t do. I also have developed specialized techniques for Newly built Dealerships and New Acquisitions as well! I do all this nationwide and coast to coast.

For me, I’ve always been a self-promoter and self starter. I’ve grown myself,  my company and my philosophies on social media. I take the opportunity along with the job roles and I make videos/reels to create a huge outreach across the nation with them.

I’d say this is what sets me apart from the rest! Also, building my brand and building value in myself is important. I have people watching me; so these roles going all over the nation have really interested other Dealerships and Automotive Groups to reach out and use me for their staffing. My business is ran from word of mouth, and all referral based.

For me, I just don’t take on every single group. I want to know that it’s actually a good place to work. I reach out, do some research on them and make sure that they do have a good work-life balance, culture, and growth. There is so much talk nowadays about work-life balance. I sometimes discover toxic work environments while I’m researching. That is why I stay diligent and make sure I am promoting an environment I would want to work in! I take what I do very seriously. Putting my name behind the brand as well as my reputation on  the line is serious for me. I know that there is such a need for great people. What I do is, I actually screen all the applicants, and make sure they are elite, and the best for the role I’m filling. I then send them in for interviews, and create a seamless process for Management- so they have more time to grow their business, and really only talk to the best matches possible.

I actually call the applicants myself and do a phone interview with them. I find out what the applicant’s needs are  when it comes to a job, pay, and culture of a workplace. Usually, this makes a nice seamless transition for the owners/managers of the Dealership Group!

I’d like readers to know that I’m not just Recruiting Automotive only. I can also fill any role across different trades! I just filled a role for GCC. They were needing an instructor in their automotive section!

As a business owner, I want to grow and grow the right way! I take my customer service seriously and my customers business/ time seriously. I make sure that they get the best candidates they need to succeed!

What are your plans for the future?
I always look forward to the future, because the workplace and work structures are ever-evolving!

Currently for me, this is a huge month and a huge year because I am adding on employees, and I’m really going to be put to the test when it comes to growth and structure!

I’m looking forward to taking on more accounts and opportunities throughout the nation and building a strong team and foundation!
