Community Highlights: Meet Mariah Swigart of Swigart Productions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mariah Swigart.

Hi Mariah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Mariah Swigart is a golf professional, marketing leader, and founder of Swigart Productions, a creative agency established in 2018 specializing in content strategy and brand development for golf and lifestyle businesses.

Mariah began playing golf at the age of six and went on to compete through high school and college, earning a collegiate golf scholarship. After completing her degree in education, she taught 4th grade before moving to Spain with her husband, where she began freelancing in copywriting, web design, and digital media; work that inspired the launch of Swigart Productions. She later earned her graduate degree in Industrial and Business Psychology, deepening her expertise in communication, motivation, and leadership.

Today, Mariah serves as both the CEO of Swigart Productions and a Teaching Professional at Bellair Golf Park in Arizona. She combines her background in education, psychology, and marketing to help players and brands build confidence, clarity, and authentic connection, on and off the course.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I wouldn’t describe the road as rocky, but it hasn’t always been clear. For a long time, I wasn’t entirely sure which direction to take or how to build the right skills to get where I wanted to go. I focused on taking one small step at a time, saying yes to new opportunities, learning from each experience, and trusting that the bigger picture would come together in time.

There were seasons of uncertainty and moments where I questioned my path, but those periods of growth shaped my perspective the most. Each experience helped me understand what I value most: creativity, connection, and helping others grow.

Looking back, it wasn’t one major decision that changed everything, but a series of small, intentional choices that eventually led me to where I am today. I am grateful to be in a place where my work feels aligned with my purpose and where I truly enjoy what I do.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Swigart Productions?
I’m the founder and CEO of Swigart Productions, a creative agency that specializes in digital advertising and brand storytelling, mostly within the golf industry. I help businesses and organizations bring their vision to life through commercials, promotional campaigns, and social media content that connects with real people and drives engagement.

What makes my work unique is that I don’t just market golf- I live it. In addition to leading Swigart Productions, I’m also a Teaching Professional at Bellair Golf Park and currently completing the PGA Professional Golf Management Associate Program. That combination allows me to create content that feels authentic to the player’s experience, because I understand both the sport and the audience behind it.

Whether I’m behind a camera producing a brand video, in front of the camera modeling, or on the range leading a clinic, my focus is the same: helping people and brands connect through the game of golf. From digital campaigns and partnerships to event activations and coaching, I love blending creativity, education, and community to grow the game in meaningful ways.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I love being part of events that bring people together through golf. Whether it’s leading a clinic, offering on-site swing guidance, or setting up fun activations like “Beat the Pro” challenges, I enjoy creating experiences that make the game more engaging and approachable.

I’ve also worked with golf facilities and event organizers to host happy hours, community nights, and range parties where I float around to help players improve their swing or simply have a better time on the course. It’s a great way to combine instruction, entertainment, and connection. All these things I believe make golf more enjoyable for everyone involved.
