Community Highlights: Meet Maria Crisafulli of The Fearless Feminine

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Crisafulli.

Hi Maria, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi! I’m Maria. I am a solopreneur who wears many hats – Reiki healer, Spiritual Retreat Host, and Sedona Elopement Photographer (to name a few!).

I think there was supposed to be a question posted here for this answer below:
Going (or as I like to say, GROWING) through extreme transformation every area of my life – specifically in health (I have chronic illness-autoimmunity for 10 years) as well as in love, relationships, and trauma. I have been completely pushed onto a life path that is completely immersed in spirituality, healing, and empowerment. Specifically, I am a reiki healer, intuitive medium, energy and emotional alchemist, and retreat facilitator.

My own healing journey through energy healing and from rising from the ashes time and time again in my own life has brought me into the roll to help others turn their own pain into power. I am an energy alchemist.

Through the massive death and rebirth tower moments, I’ve experienced in my own life — of constantly being knocked down and still rising again and again, I have become a master at energetic alchemy and rising from the ashes.

At its roots, energetic alchemy is about transmuting energy that doesn’t serve your highest good into that which propels you forward. It’s about breaking through that which binds you and becoming empowered. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed–but it can be transformed. Healing my inner emotional and energetic traumas and blockages through reiki not only gave me relief from what I thought were never ending autoimmune symptoms, but also gave me the power and the purpose and the drive to help other people (women specifically) transform and rise into their most empowered and aligned selves.

This is why I host retreats – to provide women with a “soul catalyst” experience that gives them a huge transformation in a short period of time. My retreats are about spirituality, energetic healing and alchemy, higher self-embodiment, and COMMUNITY through sacred sisterhood. It’s my mission to create an experience that fully empowers every person that shows up to step into their own power, and walk away with a deep rooted community of other women who actually WANT to see them rise! There is so much jealousy and dark energy oftentimes between women — this is something I am trying to break through at my events to foster truly healthy and empowering relationships with self and others. I hosted my first Goddess Rising retreat September 16-19, 2021, in Sedona, Arizona. 11 incredible women came together to rise into their inner goddess, reclaim their power, remember their own inner magic, and cultivate and immerse themselves in the power that exists within sacred sisterhood! Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey to where I am now has been absolute chaos. Recognizing my inner power and becoming a healer has been very painful. Most healers have gone through a lot of inner and outer pain in their life – which is what leads them to this role in the first place.

Stepping into my sacred purpose of empowering the Divine Feminine has been unbelievably rocky and filled with twists and turns. As a bit of a back story, I got the idea to host retreats while in a 12 week coaching program on how to become a spiritual life coach. Doing 1:1 coaching in such a formal way wasn’t fully feeling aligned with me. One day I had to idea of hosting “catalyst” retreat containers for women that catapult inner transformation and connection. As soon as I had this idea, I knew it was placed on my heart for a reason. With a small social media following and no real online “authority” to launch something this ambitious, I did it anyways! Taking this leap of faith was huge and the stress leading up to the event was immense. It wasn’t easy, but I sold out! I knew and know deep down this is the work I am meant to be doing. I am filled with so much excitement for all of the future events yet to come as I go deeper into this work.

Transitioning from originally going into this event with a partner, to doing it completely alone was a big hurdle. But one that was completely necessary — and again another testament and trial that asked me to practice what I preach – to rise, and to let go and surrender of what I thought was meant to be and allow the Universe to step in and actually take the lead. This was a very hard but empowering experience for me to step into my own and shoved me into having to truly find my own inner power and confidence so that I can help other women do the same. I realized that I CAN do it alone–and I am. And I’m not truly alone — the right women/people meant to help with this event have flowed in effortlessly and it has been such a beautiful thing to witness. I know deep in my soul I was 100% meant to host this first event totally solo as the main facilitator. Although doing so was something that filled me with fear and nervousness in the past, it now fills me with deep gratitude and inner strength. I am ready to do this work. I AM doing this work. I have everything I need within me, and so does every other woman out there with a dream.

The Fearless Feminine is not free of fear. She has fear. Being fearless isn’t about the absense of fear…it’s about staring fear in the face and going for it anyways. THIS is what the Fearless Feminine is all about. It’s about authenticity, empowerment, and truly embodying your highest self with a fiercity that out-roars any fear that tries to get in the way.

As a manifesting generator, I actually have multiple businesses. I am passionate about so many things! So, I do them all. Overall, all of my businesses lead back to the same thing – empowerment. My main business that we are talking about here, The Fearless Feminine, is the following: I am a reiki healer. I offer 1:1 reiki healing sessions and I also channel intuitive guidance. I am a medium. I tap into each one of my client’s 7 chakra energy centers and deliver healing life force energy to help them come into optimal energetic alignment. Reiki is an ancient Japanese form of energetic healing that heals the mind, body, soul, and emotional centers. Some hospitals are even offering reiki now! The intuitive guidance I channel for my clients are messages about how they can work on their energy centers and life to become more aligned with their higher self and optimal being.

As you know, I also host retreats centered around healing, Divine Feminine empowerment, sacred sisterhood, spirituality, and rising from the ashes. I am here to lead women into embodying the most “bad ass” version of themselves — one that feels completely aligned and authentic to who they really are — without fear – totally empowered. I’m here to help create a deep and meaningful community of women who truly and deeply connect with each other and want to see each other WIN — who are so confident and strong in who they are, that they are not threatened by each other’s light!

I am also a professional photographer and under The Fearless Feminine, I offer Goddess Embodiment photoshoots — which are sessions that empower women to show up as the most embodied, empowered version of themselves and be captured and celebrated! I ask women to show up as their higher self and inner Goddess! This is something I also offer at my retreats.

Lastly, I also own an elopement photography and planning business called Vow to Wander — where I EMPOWER my couples to get married the way THEY want to without limitations and totally authentic to who they are. I do most of this work in Sedona!

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I mentor other female business owners! And have also been mentored as well. I recommend that to find a mentor, don’t just find someone you aspire to be like, find someone who wants to see you grow and walk in your own authentic truth. Someone who empowers you to show up as you in business and beyond! That’s the most important factor. I think Instagram is an amazing tool to find a mentor, but also trusting the universe when someone pops into your life that feels aligned! All of my mentoring clients have become clients by total happenstance! What’s meant to be will be. Lead with your heart and solar plexus and you will find your way.
