Today we’d like to introduce you to Leslie Infalt.
Hi Leslie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am a serial entrepreneur. I started and ran my first business at age 12 (it was a babysitting company with 2 employees). I started acting officially when I was 15 and got the bug very quickly. Over the years I worked as an intern in multiple talent agencies, as a theatre teacher, as a talent agent, and an acting coach. I also worked many 9-5 jobs along the way and got a degree in radio and television production and another in business administration. I started another company right before covid- a coaching business teaching women entrepreneurs to start and scale online businesses. I ended up also working in marketing and last year went full time with a marketing company (Sterling Sparrow Marketing) and then started my acting coaching business (East Valley Acting Studio) soon after. I recently also re-launched my coaching business (Leslie Infalt Coaching) again, but this time the focus is helping high achievers (business owners, actors, CEOs, etc) get past mindset blocks and habits keeping them stuck and feel more confident, happy, and healthy! As you can see- I don’t sleep much. BUT my passion is helping people really reach their goals, whether that is in acting, business, or in their personal life.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
If anyone says it was a smooth road, they are lying haha! Being a business owner is hard work. It is not just about managing the day to day but also keeping up your momentum and making sure that you are still enjoying it. When I started my coaching business in 2019 I was in a transitional period and just getting it off the ground when Covid started. I had to take a step back and regroup, I honestly think it was more that the universe was planting the seed but I was not ready yet. It took time, more experience, getting though a lot of hard times and obstacles, for me to come out on the other side and be really ready to step into helping others.
We’ve been impressed with Leslie Infalt Coaching | East Valley Acting Studio | Sterling Sparrow Marketing, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My primary business is Leslie Infalt Coaching, where I work with professionals, executives, and entrepreneurs who are dealing with stress, self-doubt, or burnout. I help them build confidence, reset their mindset, and perform at their best — so they can succeed in their careers without sacrificing their health or happiness.
What sets me apart is the combination of science-backed coaching and real-world business leadership experience. I’m a Certified Professional Coach with NLP training and additional wellness and neuroscience education, but I also bring 20+ years of business and marketing leadership to the table. I’ve worked as a Marketing Director, run an agency, and supported clients ranging from small businesses to multimillion-dollar companies. On top of that, I’ve worked as an actor and acting coach, which gives me unique tools for helping professionals with executive presence, communication, and confidence under pressure.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud that my coaching is practical, relatable, and results-driven. There’s a lot of noise in the coaching space, but I’ve built a brand that’s approachable while still being credible for high-level professionals. My offerings include one-on-one coaching, workshops, and speaking engagements, all designed to give professionals the clarity, confidence, and resilience they need to thrive.
In addition to coaching, I also own Sterling Sparrow Marketing, a digital marketing agency, and East Valley Acting Studio, where I coach actors. Each of these businesses ties back to my core mission: helping people show up with confidence, whether that’s on stage, online, or in their career.
What I’d love readers to know is this: you don’t have to stay stuck in stress or burnout. With the right tools, you can reset your mindset, build confidence, and create a career and life you don’t hate — one that you actually enjoy.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
For sure — I think finding the right mentor or building a strong network is one of the most powerful things you can do for both your career and your confidence.
My biggest piece of advice is to look for alignment, not just accolades. A mentor doesn’t have to be the most successful person in the room — they should be someone whose values, work style, or leadership you respect and want to learn from. I’ve had mentors who taught me not just strategy, but also how to navigate stress, communicate with confidence, and keep balance in my life.
For networking, I’ve found that the most valuable connections come from showing up authentically and being genuinely curious about other people. Instead of going in with “what can I get,” I focus on “what can I give or learn here.” That shift makes networking less intimidating and a lot more rewarding.
What’s worked well for me personally is saying yes to opportunities to connect — Chambers of Commerce events, professional groups, local business mixers — and then actually following up. It’s those conversations after the event, or reaching out on LinkedIn to continue the discussion, that build real relationships.
I also believe in building a diverse network. My coaching clients range from executives to entrepreneurs, and I also run a marketing company and an acting studio. Each of those worlds has introduced me to people who have shaped my growth in unexpected ways. A wide network keeps you inspired, supported, and open to opportunities you might not have seen coming.
At the end of the day, mentorship and networking are about connection and growth, not transactions. When you approach it that way, you’ll naturally attract the right people into your corner.
