Hi Kendall, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began offering estate planning services shortly after my Father died and my family had to endure probate. Probate was such a long and painful process that I want every family to at least see the opportunity to avoid it so their children don’t have to endure the same experience my siblings and I did.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing worth doing is ever “smooth” or easy, but I find my message a pleasure to get out and I like helping everyone that will listen. Finding groups to speak to is where I have my biggest impact, 55+ communities and churches, community centers.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Evergreen Estate Planning?
I specialize in setting up living/revocable trusts for families. Everyone that has assets in excess of $75,000or more should set up and then fund a trust so their successor trustees/their family can dispose of their assets and distribute the proceeds as they have outlined. I’m a very consultative person and am not trying to sell anyone anything, I present information and let people decide for themselves how to best proceed. I’m most proud of the people that I have set up trusts and avoid probate at a significantly reduced rate vs my competitors.

What were you like growing up?
I’ve always been very outgoing and engaging. I enjoy having real conversations with people even though those real conversations can sometimes be uncomfortable. We’re all going to die someday so it’s better to prepare for that than ignoring it.
