Hi Jessica, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi Everyone! My name is Jessica McMurray founder of Fox Contracting Services. It’s a pleasure to serve the PNW and Southern AZ, and bring knowledge to homeowners and contractors alike. I have worked in the construction field for a few years. I have a background as a Field Project Manager, Payroll Manager & Assistant.

I am skilled in finding information, and ensuring the proper contractors are on the job, licensed, and insured. With the influx of “handymen” and “contractors,” many homeowners are being pulled in many directions. They also are being put in situations that could have been avoided had they been guided properly.

Fox Contracting Services was designed to help homeowners and contractors be paired and eliminate the headache for both parties! We are a referral service, having the best of the best here in Idaho, Washington, Arizona, and Montana.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, being a woman in a man’s career world has its challenges. I struggle daily with being accepted and having the ability to compete for clients. I am a referral service among the community with contractors, and I am bringing integrity back into the community one contractor at a time. Due to my business, I have found many contractors are not fond of me in the sense that I keep everyone on their best behavior and have the clients best interest at heart, rather than allowing behavior and actions that can continue to hurt the community.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in bridging the gap with skilled contractors in the are and home/property owners. We have the best skilled tradesmen for the job, and can tackle any project big or small. I am set apart from many in the industry for many reasons; one being I am a referral services, second I vet all contractors that come to me, they have to go through a background check, supply insurance for the business, provide their registration and/or license, any social media and work photos they have done. I ensure they meet the standards many clients are looking for, I ensure the quality and safety of my contractors for home/property owners.
When receiving a job, I take the extra step for the contractor and vet out the client, and ensure they do not have any litigation’s pending, liens, and lack of payment.

I am most proud of Fox Contracting Services with the integrity we are bringing back to the communities! We want to expand and keep the values of the community while doing so. With many new businesses up and coming it is easy to get yourself, as a consumer into a mess. I am here to save everyone from the headache, provide top-notch experiences, and help both parties. Gone are the days that a business can show up on google and be the best in the trade.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up in Tucson was a much different time than we are in now. I had a lot of friends, and could be found with them, riding my bike, or playing Barbie’s. I was very involved in soccer growing up and until I hit high school, and started working. My father instilled my work ethic, and I am very thankful for that. I love making money, and growing my empire.
I knew one day, I would end up owning my own business and taking it to another level. I have always been a work horse, and have the go-getter attitude. My kindergarten teacher told my mother, “She isn’t bossy, she has leadership skills!” That has stayed true, and I have a 10 year old daughter that is following in those same footsteps.
I am passionate about many things and will always find the “why” in everything!

I married my high school sweetheart, whom unfortunately passed away, shortly after we were married. I found myself in North Idaho raising my daughter and building my tribe.
