Community Highlights: Meet Jenni O’brien of Sisterhood in Faith

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenni O’brien

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hello! I am Jenni O’Brien the founder of Sisterhood in Faith and also known as “Motivate Faith”
I am a mother of three beautiful children and have been married for over 29 years. I have lived in Arizona most of my life. My mother is a native and my father has been here since he was a child and he is over 80 years old now. We have a lot of roots here in the valley and love Arizona.
You want to know how Sisterhood in Faith started? Well, in 2020 during a time when there was so much craziness was going on in the world…riots, politics, covid….the unknown…the fear…the craziness on social media…the isolation was so heavy on my heart and I just started to pray to GOD what do you need me to do…use me….then it came to me to start an online bible study and I called it Sisterhood In Faith. It was a small group of us getting onto Zoom each week. I started a website to be able to upload material and also started a instagram to be able to post inspirational quotes, music and videos to try to make a small difference in someone’s day. It was very heavy on my heart to fill social media with Godly messages to help Spread LOVE all over the world. I felt LOVE will heal and help us all. Each morning it was my devotion to wake up and post an inspirational reel, quote or story everyday. Every video is a place that I have visited or my kids have visited. It is very important to me that my videos are out in God’s creations…mountains, lakes, oceans, the desert…etc…I like to capture the feeling of the Holy Spirit around us. Each morning I would wake up and depending on what I was feeling or needing I would post something about that. Slowly my page started to grow and I started to get many messages about how my post made their day…or even how it saved their life. Once I started to get more messages about how the page is helping them and it was exactly what they needed….I could feel this was my calling…this is what God needs me to do right now…..keep spreading God’s love all over social media. This is the fastest, best way right now. This is my Ministry!!! In 2022 we hit over 16 million, 2023 Almost 20 Million and already in 2024 we have hit over 57.2 MILLION reaches!!! And that’s just on our instagram page. @motivatefaithig We have over 348K followers. We are spreading GOD’s love every day. In 2023 we also started in-person hikes, lunch events and happy hours. It has been so much fun bringing together women for fellowship, support and community.
Our mission is growing stronger everyday! Thank you Lord.
