Today we’d like to introduce you to Jack Mumford
Hi Jack, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I grew up facing severe physical and verbal bullying, which left deep emotional scars and shaped much of my early life. The constant torment led to intense anxiety and PTSD, making even simple daily tasks feel overwhelming. Just when I thought things couldn’t get worse, I lost my best friend to cancer, leaving me devastated and struggling to find meaning in the loss. Shortly after, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor that not only threatened my health but also stunted my growth, adding another layer of hardship to my journey. Due to not seeking help I needed, these issues eventually led to an eating disorder, which I just recently got in remission for. I don’t wish this on my worst enemy. The challenges felt insurmountable at times, but I refused to let them define me.
Through faith, resilience, and an unwavering determination to push forward, I worked to heal both mentally and physically. Therapy and my own inner strength helped me regain control over my life. Instead of letting my struggles hold me back, I channeled my pain into building something positive starting my online fitness business from the ground up. What began as a small idea grew into something bigger, allowing me to help others transform their lives, both physically and mentally. My journey has been painful, but it has also shaped me into the strong, driven person I am today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have faced more obstacles and challenges than I ever could have imagined, but each one has shaped me into the person I am today. Growing up, I endured relentless bullying, both physical and verbal, that left deep emotional scars. I remember sitting in class, trying to focus, when students would slam my head against the desk the moment the teacher looked away. I’d go home with bruises on my shins from being kicked repeatedly, but I lied to my parents, telling them they were from sports because admitting the truth felt even more humiliating. Every day felt like a battle just to get through, and the constant fear and anxiety took a heavy toll on me.
As if that wasn’t enough, I suffered one of the greatest losses of my life when my best friend passed away from cancer. The grief was unbearable, leaving me feeling empty and lost, wondering why life seemed to keep knocking me down. Not long after, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, a discovery that not only threatened my health but also stunted my growth. The endless medical tests, doctor visits, and uncertainty about my future weighed on me heavily, making it even harder to find my place in the world. Just when I thought I had already endured more than enough, the bullying escalated to a level I never could have imagined.
One of the worst moments came during my junior year of high school, not long after my diagnosis and my best friend’s passing. I had gone to the bathroom during lunch, which is where I went every day during lunch since I ate by myself. This day, I was just trying to get a moment to myself, when suddenly a group of football players stormed in. Before I could react, they started laughing as they threw food and drinks all over me, covering me in sticky soda and cafeteria slop. Humiliated, I tried to clean myself up, but the real nightmare began when I stepped out of the bathroom. It was like a scene from a movie students lined like a hallway outside the bathroom on both sides, pointing and laughing as I walked past them, completely drenched and ashamed. Every step toward the nurse’s office felt like an eternity, as if I were trapped in some cruel joke I couldn’t escape.
That day, I felt like rock bottom had finally swallowed me whole. The weight of everything losing my best friend, my health struggles, and the relentless bullying nearly broke me. This doesn’t even include other relationship issues and car accident that should have ended my life. I battled anxiety, PTSD, and depression, struggling to find meaning in the pain. But instead of letting these experiences destroy me, I made a decision: I wouldn’t let my suffering be the end of me. I used every ounce of pain, humiliation, and heartbreak as fuel to build something meaningful starting my online fitness business from nothing. What once felt like insurmountable suffering became my driving force, pushing me to help others overcome their struggles and become the strongest versions of themselves. The road hasn’t been easy, but every challenge has made me more resilient, more determined, and more certain than ever that I am so much more than what I have endured.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t believe in luck good or bad. Every challenge I’ve overcome and every success I’ve achieved has been through two things: My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and my relentless work ethic. Nothing in my life has ever been handed to me. I’ve had to fight through pain, setbacks, and hardships most people can’t even imagine. But through it all, my faith has kept me grounded, and my dedication has pushed me forward.
Building my online fitness business from nothing wasn’t luck it was 12-hour workdays, balancing school, an overnight job, and constant client calls. Yes, this was all while still battling the mental struggles I previously mentioned. It was sacrificing sleep, free time, and comfort to create something meaningful. While others took breaks, I was grinding. While others doubted me, I kept going. When my friends played video games, I was taking calls. I believe that God rewards those who put in the work, and that’s exactly what I’ve done. 10X
Every success I’ve had is a result of His blessings and my willingness to outwork everyone around me. I don’t rely on luck I rely on discipline, sacrifice, and faith. Most my life I’ve been the only one to believe in me and that’s all you need! “Theres no greater waste of time than defending your actions to people whose life you don’t want.”
