Hi Imanuel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I come from a family of barbers, so I was surrounded by the craft from an early age. I always knew school wasn’t really for me — I was more hands-on, more creative. I officially started cutting hair at 21, working alongside my brother and helping him run his barbershops. That experience taught me a lot about business, leadership, and what it takes to keep a shop running. But deep down, I knew I wanted more than to just manage someone else’s vision — I wanted to build something of my own.
That’s when Dapper Cuts was born. I took my entrepreneurial drive and combined it with my passion for the art of barbering. My goal has always been simple: to create a space where clients can get a high-quality cut, unwind, and feel confident walking out — all at an affordable price. I’m proud to say Dapper Cuts represents everything I believe in: craftsmanship, community, and an atmosphere that feels like home.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like most entrepreneurs, I’ve faced my share of challenges while building Dapper Cuts. There were financial hurdles, long hours, and the constant balancing act between work and family life. Finding the right team of barbers who shared my vision wasn’t easy either — and neither was securing the perfect location, attracting new clients, or building a loyal clientele from the ground up.
But every challenge taught me something valuable. I’ve learned to push through the tough times, stay focused, and never lose sight of why I started. Without my regulars and the new clients who continue to walk through our doors, Dapper Cuts would have stayed just a dream. I’m truly thankful for their trust and support — they’re the reason the shop keeps growing. There’s always room to improve, and my goal is to keep evolving Dapper Cuts into a place where every client feels taken care of, both professionally and personally.
We’ve been impressed with Dapper Cuts Barbershop, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Dapper Cuts Barbershop is all about quality, comfort, and community. We specialize in classic and modern men’s grooming — from precision haircuts and beard trims to relaxing facials and hot towel services — all done with care and attention to detail. Our goal is to give every client a place where they can unwind and leave feeling confident.
What sets us apart is our connection to the community. We give back through charity events, like free back-to-school haircuts for kids, and we offer discounts to student athletes. It’s our way of supporting the people who support us.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the trust we’ve built within our community. Our clients know that when they come to Dapper Cuts, they’re going to get consistency, professionalism, and a genuine connection. It’s not just about the haircut — it’s about the experience, the confidence, and the culture we’re building.

From long days in the shop to late nights planning ways to grow the business, I’ve never been afraid to put in the time or effort it takes to make Dapper Cuts better.
That determination keeps me focused, even when things get tough. I’m constantly pushing to improve — whether it’s the client experience, the team, or the brand itself. I think that mindset of showing up every day and giving it my all is what truly separates me and Dapper Cuts from the rest.
